Workers are also human beings..
Hello everyone
I've come home these days because of the Eid holidays at my university. I've been on a break for almost the past two weeks, but poor university staff, who only got one day off before Eid and today again it's a working day for them. If we think about it, isn't this unfair to them? Like they also have their kids at home waiting for the fathers or mothers to come home bring their gift. Just think about the kids who got their both parents employed.

Similarly, if we look ahead, my summer vacations are coming up, which are roughly 2 months long. However, for these staff members or others who have jobs, they will only get a week off. How difficult it will be for them, who work all year round for their families, and hardly ever get a chance to enjoy time with them. Ah, if you feel it, it is kind of painful..
I've experienced this many times in my life. When my father used to have a job, I remember waiting for him all day during summer vacations, and when he would come back late at night, he would be so tired that he wouldn't feel like taking us out because he himself was exhausted. Those days were quite troubling for us kids, and eventually, my father decided to quit the job because he couldn't give enough time to my mother either.
I also remember a special holiday incident that happened in my life, when my father had a job and their wedding anniversary came up. My mother was so happy that they would be off and we would have a lot of fun, but on that day, my father had to go to the office for something very important. He spent the whole day so busy that we couldn't do anything special. That incident was the main reason my father decided to quit the job because what's the point of a job if it doesn't allow you to take care of your special days?

These people are also human after all, they have emotions too, they have precious moments in their lives too. Instead of just increasing their holidays, the government should consider them as respectable citizens and acknowledge their feelings. Who knows how many birthdays of their children they miss, how many of their wedding anniversaries they forget just because of work. Yeah, i know the importance of work but is it worth destroying their special moments? And a one day holiday for their special day isn't going to effect work in any manner...
So, in the end, I would like to say that not only should their holiday time be increased, but their special days should also be marked, and on those days, they should be completely free from work. When they don't need to wait for the approval of the leave or just beg before the boss so that they can get that one precious leave. After all, it's just one day, who knows how many days they'll get to live in that one day.
Well, that's all from my side.
GOODLUCK AND BEST WISHES 👌

You are right buddy, all the memories that we have are somewhere made because of holidays that we had
Holidays are perfect.
Thanks bro.
You are right with your suggestion that workers deserve more recognition and consideration for their special days. For me, is not just about increasing the holiday time but it's all about valuing their emotional well-being and family bonds. Thanks so much for sharing.
Special days not only come for the authority persons but also the workers working under them. That's why I said so.

So many people misses their festivals and important days with their family and friends just because they had work.
Right. The government should consider this thing...

I can relate with you, my husband couldn't make it home during this last holiday because he was still on duty, that means spending time meant with family still committed at work, there should really be a reconsideration for workers to maintain work-life balance.
Exactly, they have their personal matters too, which demand proper time to get sorted out.
Thanks for your comment.
It is really painful man, when your mother has arranged everything for the wedding anniversary but your father is busy at work. Sorry to hear, he has quit his job. Workers should be given fair chances of holidays.
That was something really sad, thankfully we had a good backup but think of those who only have the job as an income option...
Thanks for the comment
There's need for holidays and I agree with you that it's pointless providing for the family when you can't be there when they need you the most. You dad made a tight decision and he must have thought about it critically.
I believe workers just get more holidays to give them time enough to bond with their families when there is need.
That's a need of every human being to satisfy his internal deeds. He should be given that chance at any cost.
