Real interaction that happened today...

I found my mother sad after a phone call, and said to her "what happened?" and she replied that our relative, (let's call him M. now,) is severly ill.

I sighed in relief "Good." And just realized what said "I mean--- It's good that no one has died, not good that he's ill."

I really should work on my communication skill.

And I hope he gets better soon...
