I don't even hate them... Just observing with somber disgust.
Most people I know are abusing what little power they have in this economy. You can't blame government workers for taking bribery if you're the one who's bribing them! You don't have the moral high ground!
Still, when renewing a passport takes 3 months without bribery, and one week using bribery, it's really hard to tell someone with severely ill family member not to do it. #morality #finance #cent

It's almost same thing in my country, it's very hard to get a job or important business deal without cutting corners.
It's really sad...
I guess you renew a passport and then start the process for the next one straight away, or do you have to hand it over (the old one) immediately on initiating the process?
In places without the origin country embassy kind of more or less the same problem.
You can't, your old one must be about to end for you to be able to renew it. Oh, and if it's gone missing you have to go through A LOT of hooops to replace it! It's almost hell!!!
Sounds like the same process as in Africa Portuguese colonies :D
I have been through the experience.
