AI can only do things it's taught to do, a human can come up with new solutions...


The problem is, most of the jobs only require following specific tasks, and AI can learn to do them better than humans.

A job that requires thinking new ways to solve a problem will be safe from AI, (at least for the foreseeable future,) but these jobs are very rare.

Also jobs that require physical labour that's too varied for a machine to replicate on regular basis, or too expensive to make a machine specifically for it will be safe from AI for a while. #technology #automation #cent

Then there's the "value added" factor people can bring t oa job. Think Russell Crowe in Gladiator screaming to people "Are you not entertained?" He was the most efficient killer, but he didn't give audiences a chance to enjoy the fights.

Except that many people prefer ChatGPT interactions to human interactions, because dealing with humans make them feel less human. What a paradox...
