Borderlands publisher's CEO said on Twitter (formerly X) that real fans will buy their game at $80 full price.
People didn't like that!!
While I think dedicated fans would find a way to buy their favorite game at $80, it had better be the best game for them! #gaming #cent #bbh

I'm a broke real fan, I have to wait for it to be on sale to get the game I want
just take a break for 10 years. That’s what I did. Then I got a ps3 when ps5 came out 😆
$3 games galore!
I’ll go $45 for a game that’s in my top 5, no higher. All other games I pay $25 max. So a lot of games I have to wait 3-5 years to play and only buy used.
$80 means bye bye gaming for me
