My granddaughter is going there over spring break with a bunch of friends...senior trip (college). Some of her ancestors (paternal)came from there and I think she relates. Should be an interesting trip.
Great pictures. They reassure me. It looks relatively sedate.

It's a peaceful yet vibrant place with many natural wonders. Perfect for a spring break vacation. I happened to be there around that time with many college age vacationers from the US mainland. The old historic town is spectacular with plenty of castles, museums, forts, and much more. She'll have a great time.
