Hello @katerinaramm,
I don't mind horror...I even like some horror movies. It's the sexualization of children that offends me. I'm sure you've seen the great (in my opinion) horror films I enjoyed (is that the right word for horror😄?)
The Shining
American Psycho
28 Days Later (all in that series)
Land of the Dead
Shawn of the Dead
many, many more :)
No slash and gore for me, although American Psycho comes close I think it shows more blood than slashing.
I don't think I will check out that movie because from what you said there is sexualization of a minor. I don't care if it's horror or any other genre...that's a no go for me.
Hope you are enjoying your kitties...

Oh kitties are doing great!!
For me, the horror era has been long gone :)
I have seen most of the above, I had even read the book by King but all those when I was younger. The past few years I am too afraid to see horror films and I feel as if I am wasting my time, while I could do better things!
Thrillers though, I do watch sometimes, even if at moments I admit closing my eyes
I am really happy that this was the reason to chat with you after a while :)
