RE: Young Blood, Old Questions: What the Science Really Says About Ageing

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I think it's terrifying!!! I can imagine blood banks funded by the wealthy where young recipients are screened by age. I can see elderly wealthy siphoning blood from the needy. It's really distressing. As you say, so much exploitation going on already. Organ theft, organ selling. Restricted access (by ability to pay) to top medical interventions. Now this. In the U.S. you can give plasma twice a week. What if you can't pay your rent? What if you need money for food? Go to the premium blood bank, funded by wealthy recipients, and get premium pay for your blood.

It is a grotesque and foreseeable scenario if this theory proves true.

I think there are tons of classified research findings that are being shielded from the public because they are unethical. As someone said, whatever is being released now is about 20 years behind what "they" currently know. I don't like conspiracy theories but too many of these theories are proving to be true for my liking.

Problem with conspiracy theoriesw is that sometimes they are on the mark. How can we tell, though? We have to be skeptical, and yet sometimes there is truth. I guess we have to check the source. And, we have to work really hard to make sure ethical people are in positions of authority. If we trust the people who funnel the information to us, then maybe we will have more trust in the information.
