Effortless Control My Driving Superpower

If someone asked me what my superpower is, I wouldn't say flying, invisibility, or mind reading. Mine is much simpler - I can drive without ever learning how to. Sounds crazy, right? But that's the truth. I like to think I was born with it. Some people are naturally good at singing or drawing, for me, it's driving.

I still remember the first day I ever drove a car, I was sixteen, and my mom's car was the lucky ride She had no idea what was about to happen. We visited a relative and after the visit I told her I'm going to drive us back home, to my surprise she didn't object probably she felt I was joking and was going to realise I couldn't do it, I just asked for the keys got into the driver's seat, and started the engine. The funny thing was, I wasn't nervous at all, No shaky hands, no second-guessing just pure calm confdence, like I'd done it all my life, the car moved smoothly, I shifted gears naturally because it was a manual, and before I knew it, I was driving like a pro, my mom stood there in total disbelief. The frst thing she asked was, "Who taught you how to drive?" I couldn't even give her a proper answer because, honestly, no one did. Of course it was illegal at the time because I was sixteen and haven't gotten my license, but my mom knew how to talk to the policemen on the road who would let us pass because my driving her around became a regular thing because my mom doesn't like to drive.

From that day, I knew driving was more than just a skill to me - it was something that came fron within. It felt effortless, like the car and I understood each other. And the more I did it. the more it felt like therapy. Some people find peace in music or nature: I find mine behind the wheel. The rage of the engine, the feeling of control, and the freedom of the open road - it's pure bliss
I eventually got my driver's license, but that was more for formality than necessity, I didn't need a driving school to teach me what I already knew instinctively. Even when I go months or years without touching a car, the moment I sit behind the wheel again, it feels like I never stopped, It's like riding a bike, but better - smoother, faster, and more natural.
Cars have always fascinated me too, I could spend hours just admiring their designs, listening to engines roar, or talking about car specs. It's more than a hobby; it's a passion, Maybe that's part of why driving feels so easy - I genuinely love it, It's not just about moving from one place to another; it's about the experience, the connection, and the feeling of control that comes with it.
So yeah, if I had to name my superpower, it's definitely my natural ability to drive. No fancy costumes or comic book origins - just me, a steering wheel, and the road ahead. It's the one thing I do best and differently, and every time I drive it reminds me that some gifts don't need to be taught, They're just a part of who you are.
