A Time To Reminisce
Seeing this prompt, I remember the @hivecreators 2026focus tool they designed and a part where we were being asked about what we want fellow Hivers to see or say about us. You know, in life it doesn't really matter what people say about you but then it does matter sometimes most especially when it's behind you, that is, when you are no longer there to defend yourself.
We would see that most Christians today in this era, would always pray making references to past or present ministers of God, that is how far or how well they could speak of their impacts during their existence.
Now, after trying to live my life in a way that will please God and also not commit any atrocities against my fellow beings, trying my best to make peace with almost everyone as much as I can and always trying to bring happiness to their faces, if I now have to travel to the future and then all I could see is people talking about me badly, with no one actually saying something good about me when I'm gone then it will be so sad.
Not because I cherish what they say more than anything or above what God says about me since there's no way you can please everyone as human but if throughout my existence on earth, there is actually nobody that could speak a unit of good word about me then something so tragic had happened. The next thing might be trying to see reasons, what is wrong in my present that could trigger such future and make amends.
Peradventure the future is now not possible to be changed as my past had already written the future with a permanent marker, I guess I'll just have to let it be and ensure to live the rest of my life in a way that my past mistakes doesn't get to repeat itself in the remaining years.
There won't also be any form of regret though what you don't know at times seniors you like they say in my tribe but as long as you've known it already with no option to be exempted, then it's just better to be a better person if there had been some traces of mistakes or bad life.

Having a good legacy is something good and we should work today that in our day to day activities. Going into the future and seeing we don't have that, can be disappointing and we'll want to know what went wrong.
Yeah actually. No matter how bad people are, there would still be a few that would be able to speak of your legacy and impact positively if one had loved a good life
Being good it's a good one but sometimes i noticed that people don't value it but rather the other way .
Because the world is filled with bad people so the good ones are not seen but rather be lured to becoming bad
It really would be sad and disappointing to find that in the future no one remembers you for any good deeds. It would surely be difficult to accept especially if you're sure you did make some effort to be good.
But if that's how it has been written then there's barely nothing one can do about it except accept it and maybe make some amends where possible
Yeah that's just it. Not residing in the pool of what's been damaged already is another way of progressing
This is a very thoughtful one, but we actually don't even need to stress much, the fact that they aren't saying any good thing does not mean you've lived a bad life, it just shows they are humans and choose to remember what they feel like.
