Llegué acá de la mano de @kpoulot, amiga escritora de las que ojalá pudieran clonarse. Lejos de actuar con egoísmo, apenas "cogió tamaño de bola" en Ecency, corrió a los grupos donde podía interesar y nos lo contó. Es gracioso que muchos aspirantes a escritor (como lo soy yo misma), no quisieron unirse, a pesar de ser muy activos en otras redes sociales donde suben sus obras y artículos por amor al arte. Miedo al cambio, el cubano tiende a ser conservador. Las crypto son mal conocidas en Cuba y están asociadas a mucha leyenda negra. Eso sumado al eterno fatalismo geográfico: Es imposible que sea para nosotros.

Como mucha gente, yo había oído hablar de las crytomonedas, pero las consideraba algo lejano, "de afuera (del país)", que nunca tendría relación conmigo. Tengo 52 años, tuve el primer celular (viejito, regalo de un amigo) en 2020, por ende, soy completamente analógica. La idea de que yo llegara a saber, siquiera, qué es una blockchain o para qué sirve, era una utopía hace meses.

Pertenezco al tipo que, si hubiera nacido hace cientos de millones de años, algo me habría comido enseguida o me habría comido yo algo peligroso. Pues no suelo negarme a vivir experiencias nuevas, soy (sanamente) curiosa y muy entusiasta. Resumiendo: entré a Ecency y durante los primeros dos meses obedecí a mi gurú @kpoulot quien, a su vez, tenía sus propios gurúes e iba descifrando las reglas de Hive migaja a migaja. Pero cada pequeño detalle de esos, me lo pasaba. Así pude sortear los misterios que atormentan a cada nuevo ingreso.

Como no podía menos que ser, en Hive encontré varios amigos y colegas y bastantes cubanos. En @hivecuba somos una comunidad vibrante, muy comprometida, gente que apreciamos la oportunidad de compartir lo que amamos y ser apreciados por ello. En lo personal, he encontrado sostén, ánimos y mucha camaradería en mis compatriotas. @iriswriter fue la primera en mostrarme su solidaridad, delegándome HP en un momento en que casi no podía publicar por falta "de raya verde", como decía en aquella época (y bueno, sigo diciendo aún 🤭). @Yecier, @roswell, @marabuzal, @melissita, @maia... me doy cuenta de que debo de estar dejando fuera mucha gente que me ha apoyado y ayudado. He conocido hivers maravillosos, que han sido amables con mis post, como @palomap3, @pannavi y tantos más. Cobré mayor conciencia de ello ahora con las estadísticas, pues en el día a día todo me resulta medio confuso y, la verdad, rara vez sé lo que estoy haciendo.

Las estadísticas del 2025 me han sorprendido gratamente. He hecho muy poco, menos incluso de lo que creía, pero aún con ser tan poquito ha sido emocionante, gratificador y exigente. He aprendido y, sobre todo, me ha abierto nuevos horizontes. Mi sueño es poder hacerlo mucho mejor en el 2026.

I arrived here thanks to @kpoulot, a writer friend of the kind you wish could be cloned.
