When Boredom Visits...

We, were born to be busy!. It's what I think mostly when I reflect on life in it's entirety. Look at these simple analysis; right from the word go, the moment we come to this world, our busy journey, commence.

As a baby, even before you display what is troubling you,(aside moms superpowers to figure out), you have to cry your way out. There's the "I'm in discomfort, change my diaper cry" and there's the "I'm hungry, feed me cry".

Students, regardless of the class have their own busy schedule. Parents are not left out, and so is the working populace.

The point I'm making here is that, we're all busy people, in a busy world.

In spite of our busy lives and schedules, there are still moments we lapse into boredom. We give into lazy mode and in that minute, do absolutely, nothing. Well, almost nothing I mean!!!!

This is what I sometimes do in my boredom state. I close my eyes and daydream. I picture how things would look like if everything was working as it should. I form new strategies in my head about my goals and, I fantasize about things that sometimes are just extraordinary. I create an imaginary world in my head and lounge into it for a while.

On a different note, I do deal with boredom with music. The first on my playlist when boredom sets in is the lazy song by Bruno Mars.The rest would be randomly selected and played, so long as it catches my attention.

Almost on a constant, I watch movies too!! I love good movies, talk about animation, adventure, fantasy, thriller, drama, action, comedy and the likes.

To even keep me more occupied with my movie choice, I go for seasonal movies with several seasons and many episodes. The more episodes a series has, the more it's likely to be interesting. If it's captivating, I get lost into it, it allows time to pass quickly without me noticing. In the end, it most certainly would kill the boredom.

When boredom Visits, I give it a seat briefly, then, I kick it out!!!!
