If Only Wishes Could Come True... (Favorite Age)

I want to get that and be that when I get there, I am there. But now I wish to go back and have what I had in the past. It's a people problem.

We do encounter a people - problem at some point in our lives. Well it is not always the case but it happens. We have something today and may not appreciate it until it's gone from our hands. Then we wish to have that which is gone from our hands.
When I read this week's prompt about the favorite age bit, I said to myself now I have a people problem situation, (laughs).

Once upon a time, I was a teenager, full of wishful thinking and one of those was to be an adult so much, so bad...

As a teen I didn't have to worry about things like, bills and assuming certain responsibilities. When I wake up in the morning, I am thinking first of my stomach, as to where the money came from wasn't my headache. Having my educational needs met and catered for was not my cross to bear as mom took care of it all.
Interestingly, when I heard adults talked about bills and responsibilities, I imagined them as boring folks as there was more fun side to adulting than talk about those.

I felt adulthood came with lots of freedom to do as you pleased.

I was petty as a teen to have assumed being told to sleep at a particular time, not being allowed to always have my way and more was stressful.
I was wrong, I later got to understand that was called parental nurturing and that, has had positive impact on my adult life.

***I woke up one day an adult! I got my wish after all and I realized I scammed myself thinking it was easy adulting. ***

You have to work hard to earn money, rent to pay, bills to take care of, assuming other unavoidable responsibilities and even making decisions!

Now I wish I could go back in time being a child/teen and be my mom's headache.(laugh) where she takes care of all my needs while I sit and enjoy.

ADULTING; does have its fun side BUT, adulting, is pain!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁
