The Benefit Of Having A Quality Family Time

It is true that technology has really made life more easier. You can stay at the comfort of your home and still be current with news and information going on around various countries. The advancement in technology has been an upgrade to human kind. You can reach out to family and friends just through a mobile phone. Location or distance is no longer a barrier when reaching out to family and friends.

The use of mobile phone has really bridge a lot of gap between couples who are in long distance relationship. There are couples which either the husband or the wife is outside the country, the use of mobile phone has bridge the communication gap between couples. Now either voice or video call can be made on mobile phone unlike before that they will have to write letters which might take days before it gets delivered.

Truth be told, the use of Mobile phones has really being of great advantage to us. It is much easier to connect with friends and families and as well get first hand information on recent happening around the world. Despite the numerious benefit of mobile phone, it seems the disadvantages is getting more pronounced day by day.

The use of mobile phone is getting more abused day by day. And the truth is that it's tearing families apart. How will you be in a house, no family time, every one is stick to their phone? The hours spent on phone by many people is actually more than the hours they spend to discuss and relax with their families.

Many wives out there kept complaining that their husband no longer have time for them in the house. They now have a new rival which is their husband phone. I overhead one of my neighbour complaining that her husband is no longer having time for them and that he now has a new wife. When I heard this, I was so surprised because her husband is a fervent Christian brother. She added that the new wife lives with them and follows her husband everywhere. She even said the new wife share the same bed with them.

At this point, I could not hold it anymore I asked her to show me the new wife, only for her to show me her husband's phone. I did not understand her at first, then she explain that her husband do spend most of the time with his phone and he has no time for them has a family. That's so bad, it might sound quite funny but the family is tearing apart gradually.

Family time should be taken seriously, it should'nt be a time where everyone is busy pressing their mobile phones, it should be a time to discuss, relax, play and bond with the family.

There is this new trend I saw recently on Tiktok. Grown up adult, married women dressing and dancing seductively on Tiktok, please what kind of examples are they portraying to their children.
Parents are no longer concerned about the welfare of their children. No time to have heart to heart talk with their children they believe once they feed them and buy them clothes everything is okay. No, they ought to be more intentional on having a quality family time.

I would surely consider banning of phones in my home most especially during family time. It aid proper concentration and as well aids effective bonding among family members.
