Can Robotics Replace Humans On Battlefield?

Have you ever lived in an area which is actually a war zone? Truth be told, it's not a beautiful sight to behold. Many lives and properties are lost during war, which always sadden my heart. Many have become homeless as a result of war. Some have lost their precious live during the course of war. Most time whenever the thought of war flashes through my mind, I'm always scared because the outcome is always bad.

In about two different occasions, I have witnessed the occurrence of war. It's not always a good one. I remember few years ago when I was in the North, their was a religious clash which later agreviated to a communal conflict. The conflict started in a subtle way but before we know it, it became outrageous which ended up in war between two communities.

I could remember how the war started, it started in broad day light and everyone started running up and down just to look for a safe place to hide. I don't think I have ever being scared or frightened like that in my entire life. It was a tough one. Gunshot everywhere. Many lost their lives and properties during the war. For weeks I could not sleep because the dreadful images of the war kept flashing through my mind. Truth be told, a war site is not a beautiful site to behold.

The most painful part of war is the precious lives of the young soldiers who risk it all to save the lives of people. Many of them have lost their lives during the course of the war. Some of there family member get to live with the pain and agony of their sudden demise. Many children have being being rendered fatherless, while many women as well has lost their precious husband on the battle field.

Having a world revolving around technology, which has really made life easier.it is being known that their are series of discoveries around AI and robotics and one of the discoveries is using AI and Robotics in place of human to fighting war. This is quite interesting, I believe this will reduce the death of innocent young soldier on the battlefield. I believe the usage of AI and robotics will be of great help during war.

But can we totally rely on this, what if it malfunction and end up becoming a weapon of destruction to innocent lives. What if it fall it into wrong hands and became a tool to satisfy selfish interest of our wicked leaders. These are my fears about the use of AI and robotics in fighting wars.

Irrsepective of it's advantages I still believe it's disavantages will outweigh it's advantages. I believe this will pose a more harmful threat which might make a war end longer than it should. It could be a tool of selfish interest to those in control of the AI and robotics which might become a huge disaster at the end.

To prevent all this, I believe there ought to be law and regulations being put in place in respect to the use of Al and robotics for fighting a war.These will help in achieving a positive outcome.
