Born with a Golden spoon

Just yesterday I was just passing by i heard two men having a discussion tho I don't really know the context of their discussion but I just heard the word "He was born with a Golden spoon thats why".
I smiled and kept my track because am not part of the discussion.
Same yesterday I saw a goat walking on the street, i paid attention and saw that this goat have to Walk a very far distance just to get food, and after eating it have use its instinct to know when crossing the road will be safer for it, I just said This goat was not born with Golden spoon because other goats the owners always get food and water for them but this other one had to search for food itself, and that's exactly what happens to humans today.

So I gave a thought to that word and decided to put down a writeup on that.

Well when we hear that word "Born with a Golden spoon" we the Africans tag it to people who where born in a family where there is an already made wealth, they came to the earth and became financially free immediately.
I remember back then when I served in a position in a school, I will see children of 2 yrs or less that owns a car and a driver and those cars are changed every school section, these children enjoyed luxury at tender age.

> Ist a lifetime blessing or curse?

This is where responsibility or power of reasoning comes to plays it role, in some born with a Golden spoon is a lifetime blessing while some people turn it to a life time curse.
It all boils down on how the individual views and manages the position he inherited.

Whoever is born with a Golden spoon has financial security at first, it could be said that he has a ladder to step up more faster than a fellow who was born in a poor family that will have to get a wood and sketch his life ladder himself, the race is more rough for such ones.

Born with golden spoon have the opportunity to attend the best education unlike the child of a low income man but that doesn't make the Golden spoon child the best student.

The pressure

Now some who are born in some families who are wealthy will always be under pressure to maintain the legacy of the family, even when its difficult for them to continue, some at some point when the wealthy is gone they will have to live fake lives just to appear wealthy to people who already know them as reach people, at that point it now seems like born of Golden spoon is a curse.

Anyway I wasn't born of Golden spoon, I can't even imagine what it looks like , i have been struggling for myself since I became an adult even before I became an adult there are somethings like some foods I will never think of as a child in a low income family.

I don't think am regretting it because my position has pushed me to the brim and that has challenged me to do things I know rich man chilld will never do.

I have my own identity but most children born with golden spoon struggle to get a personal identity, they are always known by their family wealth and family name.

Sure they have the opportunity to meet with top men but when it comes to life hustle there are somethings they can't stoop low to do, me am everywhere because I have to survive.

Sometimes you see a child born from a low income family become so rich than the golden spoon child and thats just to show that life moves, and anyone who moves with life has the hope of making a difference.
Some who were born in wealthy has decided to build a name for themselves, they left the family wealth and started life hustle just to stand out and make their own wealth because they don't like the tag along that always comes with family wealth.

To sum it up Born with a Golden spoon is not bad but at the same time it can become a curse if mis managed, on the other hand that one wasn't born with a Golden spoon is not a valid reason to remian poor forever, there are opportunities in life to step up and create wealth for yourself.
