It is with joy that I welcome you back to my blog dear beautiful and amazing friends in this great scifi Multiverse community for week 26. For this week is all about my culture and I am very sure you will love everything about mine.
When we talk about culture, we are actually referring to the way if life of a particular people. It encompasses: their dress, their food, their manner of approach over life and what have you. You can't talk about people's culture without pointing to all of these things listed above.
With Joy I present to the house the Igbo people of Nigeria and their way of life. The Igbo people are found in the eastern part of Nigeria and they are a loving set of people I have ever seen.
THEIR KIND OF FOOD.
They are known for eating akpu which is known as fufu and egusi or ora soup. They love yam alot and that is why they have their new yam festival after harvesting of yam to make it official for everyone to eat. They also love Palm wine and that is why they can't do their traditional marriage without it present. These and many more are the food the Igbos eat.
CLOTHES
The Igbo love dressing elegantly. Their woman put on two wrappers and a Les blouse to go with it, while their men put on their native wrapper made trouser and the top made with the same material. They have different clothes, but we can make do with this for now.
OCCUPATION
Most of our fathers are farmers. They farm - Casava, yam egusi which is known as Mellon, cocoyam, rice, bean and assorted vegetables.
I have alot to say about the Igbo people's culture because I am a proud Igbo woman, but because of time I will love to stop here.
Thanks alot for coming around.
