MY LYRICS LEARNING PATTERN. AFRO-INLEO INITIATIVE 12.

Hello dear friends, welcome back again to the initiative for the week. This is a very great topic for the week and I believe that we will find it quit interesting to write about it.

Learning a new lyrics sometimes can be very difficult, but with constant practice one will always get down to it at the end. Though is not too difficult for everyone, but for peace like myself sometimes I struggle alot just to get the lyrics of a song.

Paper and pen or screen which do I prefer?

Well for me I work with both for different reasons. Sometimes when I am in a place where I can write and the writing material is there I can go with paper and pen. But if I am in a situation that I can't write. Maybe traveling, or even bathing and I just remembered a lyrics and I really need it badly, if my phone is close by the best option is to start typing using my phone or recording using the phone.

It do happen to me when I want to make a cover of someone's song. I need to put it down so that I can learn it very well. At this point I prefer using the phone to because of the sound. If I just write it out and don't know how to sing the song, then there will be big problem because I can't sing it. So the best option is to use my phone to do the recording. That will help me to remember how to sing it too.

When it is my own song, I can also use both paper and pen/ screen. Paper and pen when the phone is not close by and I want to trap the song that just came. Sometimes when you are doing something else and one song just flashed through your mind and you could not trap it down, it will disappear and you might not get it back. Music is like an Air just passing by. When it comes near your house and you could not use any thing to trap it, it suddenly disappears to any direction. That is the very reason why we need to get ready at any time when we hear any sound inside of us, or when a song drops to our mind. I have lost some numbers of music because I probably might be in a place where I don't have access to writing material or my phone with me. Since then I learnt my lessons on not to allow any song just pass me by like that.

In conclusion, we have our different ways of doing one thing and it gives us joy. For one person he may prefer paper and pen and another may prefer screen for short cuts. Our different ways of doing things only shows what our interest are. At the end we will still achieve the same results. I believe that what matters is the end result and not the process most times.

This is my response to the @Afro-Inleo Initiative 12.Thanks to everyone who made it here.

You're right ma, constant reading can helps us to get the lyrics of a song. Pen and paper is best when we have the around us.

I agree that depending on the individual and the prevailing conditions, both can be used as the major essence is to know and sing the right lyrics. Thanks so much for this awesome write-up ma👏
