MY BEST MOMENTS IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF THE YEAR.

2024 has been full of stories. What is your own story about this year like? Good or bad. Maybe you have had your own share of the national cake. Hahahaha 🤣. In Nigeria, our national cake seems to be ... Maybe I should allow you to feel that space.

In every bad situation, there must be something good that one must learn. Life is not all rosy for us this year, but sincerely speaking, I can count a few things that has really made me laugh this year.

We started the year in a very good and amazing mood. Every one was expecting the year to be good. You know how it is that when you start the new year, you will have lots of list of things you feel that you can achieve for that year. Sometimes you follow it line by line to see that what you want for the year comes to pass. It is true that some years we do achieve up to half of what we have written down at the beginning of the year or even more than half. but looking at this year, though the journey has been very rough but I still optimistic that we will have a very good landing for the year 2024.

Despite all odds I still have something very special that I will love to share with the house that has made this year very bright for me. A month ago I made a post about my daughter signing out of her school on the last day that she wrote her last paper. after that day it took her another month to finally say goodbye to Benue state university. She is now a graduate. In this country people who studied French language are regarded with high esteem and that is how I see her. She is a special child. Her choice of the course to study in the University also proved me right.

At last I can say that I have a graduate in my house. Not just anyone but my own very child. God is gracious. This same year that has given us all sorts of blows, both blue and black still saw the graduation ceremony of my child. We made it! Yes. Indeed we made it. She is happy and we are all happy. Though I don't want to bother myself much about the situation of the country that has almost made it impossible for graduates to get a job. I know that this same God that helped her to graduate this same year that have consumed alot of people will get her a better job to do. So, even in hard times we can still celebrate our victories.

I made sure to be there to witness everything that happened on the day she signed out and it made that day a memorable one for all of us in the house.

The good is that we are here yo tell our stories, be it good or bad. Some that started this year have gone six feet under and we don't know what there story looks like. The believe is that we will see the end of the year with joy.
