In decision making, been emotional is not an option.

Hello beautiful friends in @scifi multiverse community. I am glad that I am back for the week's edition and my name in this space still remain @adaezeinchrist. We have a special topic for the week which I believe will help us in so many ways.

Most times I see us get into trouble when we act because we allow our emotions get the better part of us. The reason why we are different from other animals is because we can control our emotions. Anyone that can not control his or her emotions will end up having his or herself to be blamed.

The first time I heard the word: rash. It got me thinking. I kept asking myself what the word means until I checked the dictionary and discovered that it means a haste. That is when we say you made a rash decision, the decision was made without proper consideration of the outcome of our actions. We come regretting after we have made previous mistakes that might take years to correct. I believe that our emotions are responsible for that.

It is good for us to get emotional sometimes because we are humans. But allowing our emotions to control us is when we get the whole thing bad. We all have what it takes to control our emotions when it comes to play.

I have seen a woman in Akwanga, Nasarawa state, Nigeria where I reside who almost killed someone's child. She used hot water to bath the baby and disfigured her body because she couldn't control her emotions. But she had to face the law, which is when she started saying had I known. But it was too late at that time.

Allowing our emotions to take control have put me into trouble and I am saying what I say today out of experience. There was this particular time when I got into trouble because I told someone something that really hurts. I thought I was just saying something that will hurt that person because he also did same to me. But no. I said some foolish things without thinking them over. After that trouble of bringing people to sit down and start asking what you said and why you said it. And then you hear people talk to you anyhow . I made a decision by myself that I will never take any decision in a haste. I will always think over what to say before voicing it out

DECISION
I believe that our decision over any matter should come after we might have settled our emotions and put it in place. That is when we can make our decision because it sopposed to be the final bus stop.
