Dealing with boredom.

In this life sometimes you feel bad about something you are doing or you might not even like what is happening around you. Maybe it may be that you don't have friends to play around with, mates to talk about life issues or just people around to talk to. It happens most times with people and it doesn't seem as something that is about to stop today no matter what we do. What we can do is to see ways to cope or handle situations like this.

What is boredom? I will love to say that sometimes it is a way that our brains tell us that we need something fresh or different from what we are doing. Getting restless when you don't have any interesting thing to do. That is where what one is doing seems to be very dull and unexciting.

HAS BOREDOM EVER MADE ME DO SOMETHING THAT I REGRET?

Yes. I believe that is something that happens to us even when we least expect it.

I remember sometimes back when I was left alone at home and I tried to make a post. After making my post for the day sometimes I love watching movies to keep me busy for a while, but for that day I had no movie in my phone and I had not enough data to go online either to watch or download a movie. After staying at home for some hours I decided to go visit someone just to gist and nothing more. This is an old friend that I have not seen for a while and when I got to their house she started talking in such a way that made me feel bad. She actually created a scene by what she did and that is what I don't like in my life. She started telling people around how I have not been a good friend, how I abandoned her and never cared to know what she passing through. She told everyone how she has been there for me in the past when I was sick, how she even contribute for my hospital bills.

When all of these was going on I just stood there speechless and blamed myself for coming in the first place. This is someone that I stopped going to her place because she can't come to visit I have been there one who always go to visit her. When I was sick, she came to visit in the hospital and gave me #3000, which she claimed that she helped me with the hospital bills. I actually noticed that I have been the one given out emotionally. She has never been there for me. She will love me to go over to her house to help her to do house chores. She will ask me to go and I will leave everything that I am doing to go to her place. So, when I realized that she is never interested in coming to my house I decided to stay away from her. And thank God for hive to have helped me stay busy most times.

MY WORSE BOREDOM MOMENTS.

I feel very bad when I get to a place where there is no network. Hmmm! That is actually the worst boredom moments for me. Because I need to chat with my family and friends. I need to make a post at least once a day and maybe watch one or two movies a day. So when I can't have network for them I get bored. I traveled to a village in Kano state two weeks back and it was not funny for me when I discovered that I can't access network there. It made me bored and sometimes I walk into the bush alone searching for network.

GETTING BETTER AT FIGHTING BOREDOM.

I try by all means to keep myself busy online and I can't lie I love watching good movies especially love films. I make sure to have enough in my phone so that once I am done with what I want to do for the day and I know that I am not going to do church, then I head straight to my movies to keep me busy for the rest of the day.
