Change is constant. Looking back to five years ago.

Welcome back to my blog for this week edition of hiveghana weekly prompts. Seeing a new week I believe that God's blessings awaits us. For this week I want to pick one of the most precious topic and write on it. Reflection: Looking back to five years ago. What have changed in my beliefs? I can boldly say that alot have changed. Someone once said that if at this point you can't look back at yesterday and point to something different in your way of life, your thoughts towards life, then growth has not taking place.

What I could not achieve as a mother, let my children achieve that. Or where I could not reach in life, let my children get there. What! This is one of my song before and today it has really changed. I know is because of growth and I have also come to realize something different.

Years back I use to believe that there are so many things that I can't achieve even when all the opportunities are there. I just feel that my children will complete what ever I am not able to accomplish. Hmm! Is this correct? That is why when people grow their perspectives of life changes too. I also grow up hearing my parents saying same thing. Not just them I have also heard people older than me say same thing so I thought that it is the right thing to say, or the right believe to hold strongly too. But that have changed now.

HOW DID THAT CHANGE?

Growth happen like I said before and you know that growth comea with a lot of experience. I also read the scripture to discover to my amazement that everyone has a purpose on Earth and God expect us to fulfill destiny and not to drop some for others to complete where we stopped. Like in the book of Ezekiel where God told the prophet that even before he was conceive in his mouths womb he has been ordained as a prophet to the nation of Israel. This was a eye opener to me. It now helped me to understand that I have something to do for God on Earth and God desire that I finish it before living here. Hmmm! This is deep. Because before when I hear people say that where I stopped my children will continue, I adopted it and kept saying it to. With this new knowledge I decided to work pretty hard to make sure that I accomplished all that I was meant to accomplish. I am not living any work behind for my children anymore because they all have theirs to accomplish. If I live anyone for them that will be a double work for them.

In conclusion, everyone needs to discover what he has come to this world to accomplish and face it. Don't allow your children inherite a problem you could not solve. Try to fix it now.
