Bringing violence to an end with the fear of God

Hello beautiful friends. You are welcome back to the last edition of week 158. For this edition the topic is Violence. Just like it has been noted that every where we turn we see violence. It has become the order of the day and we want to know the source of it all.

It will be very difficult to pin it to one source. Alot has happened that has resulted to the violence we see and hear everyday. This is my own view. In the Holy book, it is written that in the last days there will be violence everywhere. Nations will fight against nations and kingdom against kingdom. All these are the signs that we are in the end of time. When we were smaller, we hear it from afar and we also watch it in the television. Even in news. But we never thought that it will come this close to us. I never imagined that I will live in a place where people are killed without any trace. But here we are in a country where people get killed everyday and no one seems to care much except to condemn the act and never do anything to stop it.

It is also true that we watch it in our movies. This is more rampad especially in American movies. This days even in cartons watched by children have some element of violence it it. So, our children grow up and they are already used to violence. Yes, the movies has its own blames for the violence in our society. But I am not blaming it all to only movies. Even without the movies, I believe that we will still see it in our society. When the first latter bomb was used in Nigeria to killed Deligiwa a journalist who was well known for his good job in the News paper company. Where did they learn that from? Was it in a movie? Look, without movies today we will still see violence in our society because man is good at bringing up evil things everyday. I believe that the movie industry is bringing up those evil to show to the world what is happening. The movies we watch everyday is a replica of what is happening in our society. Sometimes it seems as if they are not said the way they should. As if they industry makes it look bigger than it should. But I don't think so. They are trying their best to show us how bad it is to indulge in some of violence. If they don't show it, how can we know what is happening?

What about our news agents? We see in the news exactly what is happening every where. Even in places where we can't reach, the news helped us to see what is happening there and also how to be saved Incase if something like that happens. We are guided by what we watch if we are wise. The news don't increase it instead they show to the world is happening and sometimes they attract help for communities who are victims of such.

WHAT IS THE WAY OUT?
People no longer live with the fear of God in them. I believe that this is the very reason why we see and experience all sorts of violence in our society. If we act we the fear of God, I believe that things will change for good. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. You will see people who are sopposed to act with wisdom, acting foolishly because they don't have the fear of God. I believe that this is the solution to our problem in the society.
