Hello beautiful African people. I love the fact that I am African. I can't stop thanking God enough for bringing me through this side of the world. We are beautiful people. We are peace loving people. We welcome the truth and that is why we stand out in the world today. Please if you are from this side of the world, appreciate God for that. It is not easy.

What is my take on listening to circular music or songs? When we say circular it means that they are music that is not for church. Circular music can be about anything. We have circular music for different purposes.

Coming to it's effect on our spiritual life. We do actually have some songs that pollute our minds. Maybe it is from the person that sings the song. What I mean is what that individual carries from the inside. The Bible says that out of the abundance of our hearts the mouth speaks. When the heart of such individual is evil all the songs that comes from that person will only contaminate our spiritual life and make us begin to desire to do evil things.

There are some music that after listening to it one will have to do something very bad that day. I believe that it is from the spirit that has been planted in that individual from the songs. Some circular songs are very bad and not sopposed to be heard by people who are spiritually minded.

We also have some circular songs that are very decent. They teach us good morals. Sometimes it could be in the praise of someone that the song came about. When you listen to much music, it takes you back to praising your God because of the lyrics. I love listening to such songs because I learn a lot for them. We can't generalize all circular songs and say they are bad or good. We have the good one and we have the bad one. It depends on what you want and how you see it. All we need to do is act in wisdom. Know what is good for you and go for it. If this one does not suit you run away from it.

This is my humble submission. The person that sang the song affect the song positively or negatively with what they carry in the inside.

Okay guys for this edition I love to invite my friends as usual to join us:

I came to discovered that the so call church song people do call is what really bless and transform my life God as a Christian so I found it very difficult to hear those circular song.
Any song that doesn't add meaning to my life I don't hear it neither do I keep it even the church song.
I am not saying is bad but that is my choice.

Truly, it's a two sided thing because the effect can either be positive or otherwise. Music (secular inclusive) affects the mind (soul) as well as the religion one practices. Therefore, the choice is with individual as this determines which effect one get even though not all secular music are bad or evil. I expatiated more in my write-up.

Thanks for sharing your view with us.

Listening to secular songs isn't as bad as we consider it to be.
Not all secular songs are ungodly; some possess good content that is capable of enriching our spirituality positively.
