Five songs from the 90's on my Playlist

A new #ninitiesfriday and I want to take this opportunity to remember some of the songs of the 90's that I enjoyed and still enjoy, the truth in these years, many groups and soloists delighted us with good songs, so here is a list of some that are present in my playlist

Vogue

This is undoubtedly one of the biggest hits of the Queen of pop Madonna, released in 1990. This song reached the number 1 spot on major charts around the world, including the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. in addition to being number 1 in over 30 countries.

For me, a big part of its success, besides its catchy beat, was its all-black-and-white music video, where the choreographed steps of Madonna and her dancers were a boom, which many sought to recreate.

Losing My Religion

Losing My Religion, performed by the alternative rock band by R.E.M and forming part of the 1991 album Out of Time, this song reached fourth place on the Billboard Hot 100, its success was based, for me, on the lyrics of the song, which shows the insecurity of someone who wants to express his love, a deeply conflicted relationship, Losing My Religion means getting angry in such a way that you lose your temper, you feel frustrated, exasperated and desperate.

Undoubtedly one of the most popular songs of the band, then juvenile, Backstreet Boys, this song is part in their third album Millenium. The song was one of the biggest hits of 1999 and is today one of the most sung by those of us who are their fans. It reached the number 1 spot in more than 25 countries and spent more than 20 consecutive weeks on the United World Chart Singles, becoming the most successful song by a boy band.

Its music video was filmed in an airport and shows the band walking through several places in the central and singing part of the song before a group of fans, before boarding a plane, also two changes of clothes in one of them with white clothes as on the cover of the famous album where the hit is included.

Un nuevo #ninitiesfriday y lo quiero aprovechar para recordar algunas de las canciones de los 90 que disfrute y que todavía disfruto, la verdad en estos años, muchas agrupaciones y solistas nos deleitaron con canciones buenas, así que por acá dejo una lista de algunas que están presentes en mi playlist

Este es sin duda uno de los mayores éxitos de la Reina del pop Madonna, lanzada en el año 1990. Esta canción alcanzó el puesto número 1 de las principales listas de éxitos alrededor del mundo, incluyendo el Billboard Hot 100 en EE. UU. además de ser número 1 en más de 30 países.

Para mí, gran parte de su éxito, además de su pegajoso ritmo, fue su video musical completamente en blanco y negro, donde los pasos de la coreografía de Madonna y sus bailarines fueron un boom, los cuales muchos buscaron recrear.

Perdiendo mi religión, interpreta por la banda de rock alternativo por R.E.M y formando parte del álbum Out of Time de 1991, este tema alcanzo cuarto puesto en el Billboard Hot 100, su éxito se basó, para mí, en la letra de la canción, la cual muestra la inseguridad de alguien que quiere expresar su amor, una relación profundamente conflictiva, Perdiendo mi religión significa enojarse de tal manera que se pierden los estribos, se siente frustrado, exasperado y desesperado.

Además, su video musical fue un éxito promovido en ese momento por un canal que todos deseaban ver y que era referencia MTV.

Su video musical fue rodado en un aeropuerto y muestra a la banda caminando por varios lugares de la central y cantando parte de la canción ante un grupo de fanáticas, antes de abordar un avión, también dos cambios de ropa en uno de ellos con vestimenta blanca como en la portada del famoso álbum donde está incluido el éxito.
