Fertilized soil, vitamins, transplanting and more...

It is getting hotter and hotter, I am having difficulty sleeping and the leaves of the plants look thirsty. To give you an idea, the tips of the aloes (aloe) are dry and they are plants that can go for long periods without being watered.
Yesterday, when I lowered the hose to water the plants, I was surprised to find that there was no water, that alerted me, because I no longer had water reserves to water the ones that need it most, but fortunately this morning everything was back to normal, so I immediately watered the plants, but by the afternoon the soil looked as if it had not been watered.

After watering the plants, I went to a big hardware store where they sell everything, so I took the opportunity to buy some vitamins and also some fertilized soil, with worm castings and trichoderma, for my plants, actually my husband bought them for me when I asked him for them, He knows that I enjoy gardening, in fact we plan to buy worm humus and/or compost to add to those gardens that look horrible and see if they revive, I have learned that the substrate in which our plants are in must be of quality so that their growth is ideal.

Now, having vitamins, I got home and got down to work. The first thing I did was to transplant the other plant that my deceased neighbor left me. As expected, it doesn't look so good, but I hope it will recover as the days go by.

I also changed the pots of a couple of plants, I moved a jade to an unoccupied gray pot and the zamioculca that was in a pot without drainage, to one that does have it and I was delighted to know that it has a new leaf on the way, I hope I have not affected it with the transplant.

As you can imagine I put a vitamin pill in the substrate of each of the transplanted plants and I also did it with some of the plants that are in the gardens and with each and every one of my indoor plants I removed their substrate and added a vitamin pill, I am anxious to see the results.

I put special emphasis on the roach plant (Tradescantia zebrina) that I want to have in the living room, remember that the hanging pot has not had good results so I decided to put the plant in the sun and work on it until it adapts well and little by little I have seen the results, like all the others, I put vitamins to help it.

I added the remains of shells in the compost, you can see that the decomposition process of what I had added started especially the shells, but the leaves have taken longer, I think you have to water a little and add more and more material, I have noticed that in nature the process is a little faster and I think it is because I water the areas where the leaves are accumulated. So today, after adding the new material, I watered the area and then covered it again with the bag.
The truth is that I am satisfied, but because of the heat, I ended up exhausted, very exhausted, but I know that at any moment I will be observing the results of what I do day by day.

Great time to renew the soil and give vitamins to the plants !!!
To the ones I transplanted I added soil from the one I bought. After the doses of vitamins, you will know which plant needs soil. We know that with the passing of time the soil level goes down and it is necessary to add more soil.
It rained hard here in NY yesterday and today it is freezing outside. Your plants look very healthy considering the lack of water. It is nice that your husband helps you too.
So that the drought affects them as little as possible, I have water in soda containers to water them on the days when there is no water coming through the pipes, and on the days when there is water in the pipes, I water them with a hose. My husband helps me even if he protests, but he does, in fact the proposal to buy compost or humus for the gardens that look horrendous was his.
