Avocado
If you were to ask me how long this tree has been there, I would answer that it is about 20 years old or a little more, because I remember that for a while it was a piece of land with nothing but grass.
But there now, in addition to other plants, is a beautiful avocado tree, which my mother loved and cared for with great care. I know that my mother spent hours putting nutrients of various kinds such as urea, potassium, fertilizer, vitamins and also watering it with care when it was dry season.
I also do not know when was the first time it bore fruit, but I do know that my mother followed to the letter some of them, to achieve that this tree gave us its rich fruits, in the same way I remember how furious she was when a neighbor in particular sought the fruits of the tree as a desperate, crushing or rather trampling the rest of the plants, but she was and still is unable to at least water it a little.

This tree that already surpassed the height of the building gives rich avocados that are longed for by more than one neighbor, what has caused me the most impression is how after the death of my mother more than one neighbor now pays tribute to the planting of the tree, but none of them I saw or have seen yet to take care of the tree.
One of the things I enjoy most about the tree is that some of its branches are very close to the front windows of my house so we can see the fruits when they are growing, I can also see how some birds come to taste these fruits like macaws, conotos and guacharacas, so sometimes they knock down some of the fruits.
Having this tree nearby has shown me how delicious it is to have a fruit from your garden that you know it comes from. A tree that has not been treated at any time with chemicals, gives you immense peace of mind when consuming its fruits.

It is also delightful to watch the possums take advantage of the remains of the fruit that fall to the ground and break off. It reminds me that in nature nothing is wasted, everything is transformed into something more.
But this tree this year it seems to me that it has been a little sick, recently I discovered that in its roots there is an anthill and it has very aggressive black ants, I must put in practice some plan to eradicate them and also put some vitamins so that it feels love and care maybe not like my mother's, but yes it has not been forgotten that it is only seen as a producer, I believe that all the plants deserve love and care.
So this is a little of the history and feelings towards the avocado tree that is in the gardens of my home I say goodbye leaving by ca some pictures so you can appreciate something of this tree, I say goodbye to my participation in WEEK 7 of The Weekly Hive Garden Question 🌳🌿A Story of a Tree... 10 May
The Weekly Hive Garden Question 🌳🌿A Story of a Tree... 10 May

Dear @actioncats One of my favorite fruits is avocado and it is also advised for me to eat since I have a health issue concerning my liver and avocado is the best fruit for it. Too bad, all our avocado trees at home died, maybe due to the intense heat last year caused by El Nino phenomenon. I'm glad seeing your avocado tree growing well.
To drive away ants near your avocado tree, you may try the chili pepper spray solution. It's a natural remedy against plant pests, including ant pests that pester our plants. It's easy to prepare. You just need at least 20 pieces of hot chili pepper (labuyo), 1 liter of water, and dishwashing liquid. Grind or blend the chili to get its puree, and add 1 liter of water, then pour a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Put some of the mixture into a spray bottle and spray through the ant hill and the tree trunk. Don't worry, it won't harm the tree. Just make sure you avoid direct contact with the solution. I hope it helps. 💚

Thank you for this very useful information. I will get to work and, above all, to keep that fabulous mixture out of my hands, I will probably wear gloves, lots of them. But thank you very much for stopping by to comment
Beautiful avocado tree, I really like avocados
I tried to plant a couple of avocados from the pit and they took root
I planted them and they started to leaf out but after a while the leaves fell off
Probably because of our European climate
It could be that the problem is really the climate, it could be investigated, but having an avocado tree nearby is a marvel.
