A kitten in my path

About three weeks ago, I went to visit a friend. The reason, besides seeing her, which I hadn't done in a while, was also to get a bag of food for my cats, but in addition to a bag of food, I found something else.

When I arrived at the building where my friend lives, I heard the meows of a kitten on the land next to it, so I went back to see where the kitten or kittens were. There I saw a little calico kitten meowing loudly as if lost. I don't know if she lost her way or if she was abandoned, since cats are often left on that land.

I tried to catch her by calling her, but I couldn't. She moved away every time she saw me getting too close. So the only way to catch her was to lure her with food, since my friend had brought some tuna in water to give to some community kittens. That's how she managed to catch her, and we put her in a bag, which was supposed to be for carrying the bag of cat food.

At my friend's house, we gave her more food and water, so after eating, she slept soundly, which is what usually happens with all rescued animals, as they feel that they are finally safe and no longer in danger.

Since my friend already has 14 cats under her care, I brought the little one home with me. If you read my previous post, you already know that this little one is the one who has my cats stressed and jealous. My firm intention is to find her a home, but between one thing and another, I've only posted one photo of her on my Instagram, which, by the way, looks like she was attacked by a big cat or a dog.

This little one is very smart and learned to use the litter box right away. She is very active, plays a lot, and explores. She has also shown that she is not afraid of my cats. On the contrary, she occasionally gets into trouble with them, which makes me think that perhaps that attitude was what exposed her to danger, although it is well known that adult cats sometimes attack kittens and that all animals living on the streets are exposed to danger.

This kitten is very, very active and makes us laugh with her antics. Sometimes she drives us crazy, and she has taken over the sofa. My cats are starting to trust her, and I won't deny that I have thought about keeping her at home. In fact, if she is not adopted, she will obviously stay here because she will not go back to the street.

The thing is, after a long time, I've had a rescue and a kitten. Hace ya unas tres semanas fui a visitar a una amiga, el motivo, además de verla, lo cual tenía tiempo que no ocurría, era también buscar un saco de alimento para mis gatos, pero además de un saco de alimento, encontré algo más.

Cuando llegaba al edificio en el que vive mi amiga escuche en el terreno que está junto al mismo, los maullidos de un gatito por lo que me devolví a ver donde estaba el o los gatitos, así que allí vi una pequeña gatita calicó que maullaba con fuerza como perdida, no sé si extravió su camino o si la abandonaron, ya que en ese terreno suelen dejar gatos.

Intenté atraparla llamándola, pero no pude. Se alejaba cada vez que me veía acercarme mucho. Así que la única manera de agarrarla fue atraerla con comida, ya que mi amiga traía un poco de atún en agua para darle a unos gatitos comunitarios, así logró atraparla y la metimos en un bolso, el cual en teoría era para traer el saco de alimento para gatos.

En casa de mi amiga le dimos más alimento y agua, así que luego de comer durmió a pierna suelta, lo que suele pasar con todos los animales rescatados, ya que sienten que al fin tienen seguridad, que ya no corren peligro.

Como mi amiga ya tiene bajo su cargo 14 gatos, yo me traje a la pequeña a casa, así que si leyeron mi publicación anterior, ya saben, esta pequeñita es la que tiene a mis gatos estresados y celosos, mi firme intención es conseguirle un hogar, pero entre una cosa y otra solo he subido a mi Instagram una publicación de ella, la que por cierto parece fue ataca por un gato grande o por un perro.

Esta pequeña es muy inteligente y aprendió a usar el arenero de inmediato, es muy activa juega mucho y explora, además de que ha demostrado no tenerle miedo a mis gatos, por el contrario, de vez en cuando le busca líos, lo que me hace pensar que tal vez esa actitud fue lo que la expuso a peligros, aunque es sabido que a veces los gatos adultos atacan a los cachorros y que todos los animales en condición de calle se exponen a peligros.

Esta gatita es muy, pero muy activa y nos hace reír con sus ocurrencias, a veces nos enloquece además de que se ha apoderado del sofá, ya mis gatos le están tomando confianza y no negaré que he pensado en dejarla en casa y de hecho si no es adoptada obviamente se quedará aquí porque a la calle no volverá.

El tema es que después de mucho tiempo he tenido un rescate y de un cachorro, los cachorros están llenos de energía y alegría y nos hacen reír con sus locuras y ocurrencias, pero si tú estás en Caracas deseas darle una segunda oportunidad o conoces alguien que desee adoptar una gatita no dudes en dejármelo saber en los comentarios o me puedan contactar por telegram @actioncats
