I've taken the last few days to reflect in the evenings on why, even though I track everything as usual – my steps, my calories, etc. – I still don’t end up posting.
Aside from the writing part, which is totally doable, it always feels like the giveaway evaluation takes me the longest.

I then thought about just dropping the giveaway, even though I actually want to post actively.
But somehow, it feels like part of this Actifit account.
I also talked to @ARC-ECHO about how I really want to do this just for fun – without any pressure or obligation.
That’s also why I never mentioned it being a daily giveaway, even though I want to run it like one.

Eventually, I realized it just takes way too long to copy out all the commenters and paste them into a random picker.
The animation in the tool I used was super annoying, and even though I could take screenshots, copying names back out was also time-consuming and kept frustrating me.

So today, I used my Sunday to build something myself:
I wrote two HTML files.
The first one lets me extract all commenters from my Hive posts.
What’s still missing: I need to filter out bots – maybe using a referenced table.
I’ll probably add that at some point.

Ich habe die letzten Tage mal genutzt und mich abends gefragt, warum ich – obwohl ich ganz normal alles tracke, also meine Schritte, meine Kalorien usw. – die Posts trotzdem nicht mache.
Abgesehen vom Schreibteil, der definitiv machbar ist, dauert bei mir gefühlt immer die Auswertung des Giveaways am längsten.

Ich hatte dann überlegt, ob ich das Giveaway einfach weglasse, obwohl ich eigentlich aktiv sein möchte.
Aber irgendwie gehört es für mich zu diesem Actifit-Account dazu.
Ich hatte auch schon mit @ARC-ECHO darüber gesprochen, dass ich das Ganze einfach aus Spaß machen möchte – ohne Druck oder Verpflichtung.
Deshalb habe ich auch nie erwähnt, dass es ein tägliches Giveaway ist, obwohl ich es eigentlich so führen will.

Ich bin dann zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass es einfach wahnsinnig lange dauert, die Kommentierenden herauszukopieren und das Ganze in ein Zufallstool zu übertragen.
Die Animation des bisherigen Tools war supernervig, und obwohl man daraus Screenshots machen konnte, war das Zurückkopieren der Namen ebenfalls zeitaufwendig und hat mich auf Dauer genervt.

Deshalb habe ich heute den Sonntag genutzt und etwas gebastelt:
Ich habe zwei HTML-Dateien geschrieben.
Die erste sorgt dafür, dass ich aus Hive die Kommentierenden unter meinen Artikeln extrahieren kann.
Was aktuell noch fehlt: Ich müsste Bots filtern – also zum Beispiel durch eine hinterlegte Tabelle.
Das mache ich vielleicht irgendwann noch.

I also made it so that with just one click, I can copy all names to the clipboard – way more convenient than before.
Then I can paste them into my custom-built random selector, which now also has a nice animation.

I hope this helps me save a lot of time in the future and get back into posting more regularly.
Time is tight for me right now, so becoming more efficient here would make me really happy.

Since I spent the whole day at my desk today, I’ll skip the Actifit post, but I’ll still do the giveaway.

Außerdem habe ich es so umgesetzt, dass ich mit einem Klick alle Namen direkt in die Zwischenablage kopieren kann – deutlich entspannter als vorher.
Das Ganze kann ich dann in meinen selbstgebauten Zufallsgenerator einfügen, den ich ebenfalls mit einer ansprechenden Animation ausgestattet habe.

Ich hoffe, dass ich dadurch künftig viel Zeit spare und wieder mehr Regelmäßigkeit in meine Posts bringen kann.
Zeit ist bei mir aktuell leider knapp bemessen, und wenn ich hier effizienter werde, wäre ich sehr happy.

Da mein heutiger Tag komplett am Schreibtisch stattfand, spare ich mir den Actifit-Post, werde aber trotzdem das Giveaway machen.
Wer mag, kann gerne unter diesem Beitrag kommentieren – ich werde die Kommentare beim nächsten Mal mit auswerten.

Ich hatte damals auch erst gucken müssen wie es funktioniert, ggf. Ist es aber auch veraltet.

Ich hab mal versucht zu schauen ob ich hier was auf der Platform finde, aber die Suche klappt nicht wirklich.

Ist natürlich immer die Frage, was man von so einem Tool braucht oder erwartet. Für mich ist es auf alle Fälle ausreichend.

Leider weiß ich auch gar nicht, von wem es erstellt wurde..

Good job on the scripts you created for this, great initiative!

I don't blame you though for the burn out, it happens often here for myself for some reason. Some weeks/months I am so motivated to post and look forward to it at the end of the day, other times like now I can barely bring myself to get out a post let alone comments. 😅

We just need to find the motivation streak again!
