El ser humano desde tiempos inmemoriables se ha enfrentado a innumerables retos. El reto actual es un poco difícil de determinar, puesto que vivimos en un mundo que evoluciona exponencialmente. Vivimos en un mundo que no existía hace poco tiempo atrás. El mundo de nuestra infancia ya no existe.

Algunos piensan que vivimos en tiempos apocalípticos, y quizás de alguna manera tienen razón. Hay un cambio brutal de paradigmas a nivel mundial, y se percibe. Si bien estamos en una época muy pacífica en comparación a otras, hay conflictos, crisis, por doquier. Ningún país se salva.

Sé que quizás pensarán que me he equivocado de comunidad y estoy participando en la iniciativa de @zonadeescalofrio 😅, pero en realidad mi reflexión (participando en la iniciativa de la comunidad Humanitas), se basa en las dualidades que representan un reto actualmente.

El mundo exterior nos intenta llenar de conflictos, ideologías, batallas. Pero la batalla actual parece ser más mental que física. En tiempos difíciles y confusos, la mirada se dirige al interior.

Una vez escuché en un video sobre la historia de las religiones que, en tiempos de paz, surgen los mitos y leyendas en torno a la comunidad. En tiempos de crisis (de apocalípsis), la mirada se centra en el individuo ¿Cuál será mi destino? ¿Dependo de los demás o de mí mismo? Y de allí surge también la idea de un mesias, pero eso es otro tema para otro post.

Nuestros sueños y metas van con la mirada puesta en el "cielo", y nuestras limitaciones se moldean por nuestra mente y entorno. Y es allí cuando las dualidades surgen, y pueden ser dañinas, si no tenemos buen criterio o principios.

Literalmente, no existe mal en el universo a menos que haya un humano en él que lo perciba. Sin embargo, el mundo externo está constantemente poniéndonos pruebas, limitaciones, que nos hacen cuestionarlo todo, buscando siempre algún culpable.

Pero tarde o temprano siempre llegamos a la conclusión de que para empezar a hacer las cosas bien debemos mirar hacia adentro, hacia nuestro interior, y corregirlo, en lugar de ver siempre hacia afuera e intentar corregirlo. Es simple, pero difícil al mismo tiempo.

El mundo está tremendamente polarizado. Recientemente ví una gráfica en Twitter (X) que habla de la diferencia entre hombres y mujeres en distintos países en cuanto a creencias políticas. En los últimos años, las ideologías de ambos sexos se han separado y dirigido hacia polos opuestos. La inmigración, a favor y en contra. Izquierda VS Derecha. La mayoría de estas cosas surgen por que no podemos ver más allá de nuestro "ombligo", hablamos desde nuestra comodidad, sin importar si deshumanizamos al otro en el proceso.

Pero ya sabemos cómo corregirlo: ser mejores seres humanos, no alimentando la dualidad. De todas maneras, pasarán de moda.

Estas fotografías las tomé hace más de 1 año, en Venezuela, a excepción de la última, tomada en un parque de Tenerife. Es la reflexión que surgió de partir de dichas fotografías.

The outside world tries to fill us with conflicts, ideologies, battles. But the current battle seems to be more mental than physical. In difficult and confusing times, the gaze turns inward.

I once heard in a video on the history of religions that, in times of peace, myths, and legends arise around the community. In times of crisis (of apocalypse), the gaze is focused on the individual. What will my destiny be? Do I depend on others or on myself? And from there also arises the idea of a messiah, but that is another topic for another post.

Our dreams and goals go with our eyes set on "heaven", and our limitations are shaped by our mind and environment. And that's when dualities arise, which can be harmful if we don't have good judgment or principles.

There is literally no evil in the universe unless there is a human in it who perceives it. However, the external world is constantly putting us through tests, and limitations, that make us question everything, always looking for some culprit.

But sooner or later we always come to the conclusion that in order to start making things right we must look inward, inward, and correct it, instead of always looking outward and trying to correct it. It is simple but difficult at the same time.

In recent years, the ideologies of both sexes have diverged and moved toward polar opposites. Immigration, pro and con. Left VS Right. Most of these things arise because we can't see beyond our "navel," we speak from our comfort, regardless of whether we dehumanize the other in the process.

But we already know how to correct it: be better human beings, not feeding duality. Either way, they will go out of fashion.
