Zing is going proof of brain
While this is quite a clickbaity title, there's some truth to it!
We've been working with @hivetrending on a new service we wanna slowly but surely roll out. It's nothing groundbreaking and I won't get into the details too much in this post, but I wanna go over what this means for our Holozing community and the members posting in there!
Retrospective
Retrospective rewards is something I really like, because as is the case here, they will reward community members without them having been made aware of it in time.
Let's get into what we have planned so you can imagine what it will look like!
Simply put, we will be scanning the chain for activities such as posts, comments, votes, reblogs, etc, of all members in the Holozing community ever since it was launched! This means that if you've posted there, commented, curated, etc, you will be assigned points for having done so.
Then, depending on how many points you have accumulated and in which activity, you'll be able to claim a new Holozing achievement!
This achievement will however not be an NFT as it remaining non-immutable is required for it to work well! This is because accounts that are muted in our community will naturally forfeit any achievement claims which in turn comes with Zing rewards. Thus, if for any reason accounts are muted in the future they will also stop earning Zing and lose their achievement.
As we've noticed on Hive, some times bad actors take a while to show their true colors, or they don't care to being upright community members any longer for one reason or another, thus we will reserve the right to close them out of our "proof of brain" rewards.
Now naturally, this isn't the same proof of brain as we get with Hive curation, or should get at least if others were playing by the same rules. This is more of a milestone event where upon reaching certain milestones you receive a "badge" you can claim and with it comes additional rewards for you to claim every 6 hours among your other rewards.
Thus, we are opening up the doors of community members being able to earn both hive and zing when participating in our community!

Anyway, this is a small teaser of our upcoming event. We will be scanning the chain for all activity the past two years, making sure everyone on the list is deserving of the badges still and then letting people claim their new achievements along with users being able to work towards the next rarity tier which enables a higher weight of collection rewards.
