Why I Stopped Making Normal Ads for My Small Business

I'm running a lasertag Arena in real life for 15 years and every year in November and December, I was running ads to promote vouchers for Christmas on Instagram and Facebook. With every year however, it's getting more difficult to stand out and more businesses are doing exactly the same.
The experiment
So this year, I tried to do something totally different. I created a manga video using a local landmark in our town. Check out the video, to see how I did it.
A success and a failure at the same time
The video was a total success in terms of views, interaction and sharing. It generated about 15 times the views that my other content was generating and got way more interaction that average. The only problem was that I didn't make a lot of voucher sales in spite of that.
The risks with AI content
While the video did well, there were also some backlashes from people about the usage of AI. This is something to keep in mind when generating content with AI. Not everybody is a fan of AI generated content and this is something to keep in mind.

Models:
- SeaDream 4.0 for image generation
- Kling 2.5 for video animation
- Hedra for lip-sync

Maybe you should have given it the half-half treatment like the one in your screenshot. It might get the best of both worlds results in terms of views and sales conversions! 🤣
That's something I should try lol
Use AI by leveraging semantics on your social networks or website. By now, everything is subject to AI scraping and people use research differently. Search engines respond directly through the implementation of AI. It is essential to describe images through the 'Alt' tag because AI tag images in a semplistic way. At the same time, it is essential to describe your content in a discursive way, imagining that it is the answer to what a user is looking for with the search engines. In this way, keywords are no longer important, they are now a thing of the past. The content itself is the key for AI to present it as a response to the need of those looking for information about your business you want to promote.
That's totally true and it affects businesses strongly. Also more and more people are searching through AI and if your website don't rank well for AI, then you have a problem.
I think it's nice, but there is also quite a bit of bad sentiment against Ai. I think using anime/manga is a good idea to catch people's attention, but its too bad that it didn't get any actual sales.
There are some people who really don't like AI content and it's a reality but on the other hand I believe that some platforms consciously accept them because they know they can't avoid it and that we will see more and more content of this type.
