Update on my Hive Goals for 2024
I've kind of forgotten to check my Hive Goals for quite some months. Time flies and before you know it the year is over. Fortunately, I saw a lot of HPUD posts today and I remembered that I needed to look at where I stand in my progress.
800 Hive powered up
Before anything, I powered up 800 Hive today. I have accumulated quite a lot of liquid hive and it was time to stake some of it.
When I defined my goals for 2024, I set a goal for HBD and a goal for Hive Power that I wanted to reach by the end of this year. I had reached my HBD goal in June already and I was quite confident that being able to concentrate on my HP goal for the rest of the year, I would reach it easily.
Let's have a look at where I stand:

Since the moment that I set my goals, 75.8% of the time has elapsed until the end of 2024. This means that I should now also have reached 75.8% of my goals. For HBD of course, this has been reached a long time ago already and I even managed to grow my bags a bit thanks to interests. When I look at where I stand with my HP, I'm still well behind where I should be. I have reached only 56.3% and I should be at 75.8%. So I'm almost 20% behind target.
I need about 5'650 Hive Power until the end of the year to reach my goal. This is going to be challenging to say the least.

Since my last update, I have produced very few posts on Hive.

- 2 posts in July
- 3 posts in August
- 4 posts in September
This is the amount of posts that I would create in one month. I made between 8 and 12 posts per month in the past. I'm having a very unproductive time this year. Seeing that I managed to improve a bit since July, I'm hopeful that I will make more posts in October, November and December. We will see how creative I am...

It sounds like a lot to stake within 3 months but you never know. I need to post a bit more often to get there however :-)

Did you consider using the excess HBD generated to "help" increase your HIVE balance then? 😜
At the moment the excess HBD and interests is going into paying my groceries lol
