"Under Armours"

photo_2024-01-22_18-56-53.jpg

I am a huge fan of the Under Armour brand. I appreciate how their clothing consistently fits me well, boasts stylish designs, and utilizes quality materials. My collection of UA branded shorts and t-shirts is quite extensive.

These garments are not only light and comfortable, but they also make me ponder what it must have been like to wear the formidable armors I'm about to showcase in this post. The photos featured were taken during my recent visit to a fortress, and although weaponry isn't particularly my cup of tea, these relics provided captivating subjects for my photography.

Surprisingly, the hall exhibiting weapons from the early 1000s also housed a shop. Among various items for sale, including keyrings, they were peddling cookies. Judging by the pictures, these cookies seemed exorbitantly priced in my opinion.

We often lament the harshness of modern life, with cases of depression rampant among us. However, if life today is challenging, imagine the hardship of being a prisoner in that fortress centuries ago. Picture donning these cumbersome armors daily, wielding a sword to protect your land and possessions. That's true grit. Injecting oneself with steroids and cultivating a shredded physique while projecting an image that contradicts your true self doesn't equate to genuine manhood.

I acknowledge this might sound blunt, but in comparison to the men who inhabited this earth centuries ago, many contemporary men are relatively less resilient. Today's armors (pun intended) are lightweight and comfortable, but comfort alone never fostered strength.

As I express these sentiments, my intention is not to offend anyone. I often find myself resonating with these words, and this post serves as a personal motivation to break out of my own comfort zone.

Nevertheless, selling cookies at an arms exhibition strikes me as highly inappropriate. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed capturing photos during my visit, and I hope you find them as captivating as I do.

That wraps it up from my end. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday. May the crypto gods bless you with substantial profits in this bull market. See you all soon.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

The weapon is in perfect condition, as if it was recently made.

The exhibits must have been restored in my opinion.

I can see a lot of history through those guns.... 👀

I really liked your pictures, I really like to visit places where they expose any kind of things that were used in war times. It's been a long time since I've been to a museum or something similar where they present this kind of items.

Thanks for sharing your experience and photos, best regards my friend. 🤗

Good post ! It looks like the museum's exhibits are a mix of restored originals and modern reproductions.

The two pistols are almost certainly plastic non-firing replicas made by Denix. But it certainly looks like an interesting museum. Hopefully they had signs indicating which items were modern reproductions !

I didn't spend much time there. They probably had the signs bit frankly I didn't pay attention.

Amazing craftmanship from a time when things were still done by hand. Great shots!
