The Ferrari I Was Born With...
I have quite a good memory. I believe I have an above-average capacity to memorize things, and my "database" goes back to when I was three or even younger. I remember the days before my sister was born, who is three years younger than I am, and I definitely recall many experiences from kindergarten.
I had a friend named Raul when I was a child, during kindergarten, and at some point, his grandma asked my mom if I actually had a Ferrari at home because her nephew was telling her with such conviction that I owned a Ferrari when I was just five years old.
I did not have a Ferrari, and I will probably never own one, but back then, I lived with such conviction that I had a Ferrari as if it were true. I don't know what to say about that; it's probably some spiritual stuff related to my past lives or whatever, but the gist of the introduction is that for many years, I lived with the feeling that I was rich...
Better said, I was living as if I were entitled to richness, although my family was never in the position to afford such luxury. I still sometimes feel the urge to look at cars that I will probably never afford to own and envision myself living a wealthy life.
Crypto could have easily made all of the above possible due to its exponential wealth creation capabilities, but I somehow managed to kill my chances to even catch a glimpse of that... Maybe next time... Who knows...
Theoretically, though, I still have the chance to make it in crypto considering that we haven't yet had a full-blown altcoins season and that typically during a proper altcoin season, we see some of the alternative currencies go 50X, 100X, and even 1000X. The possibility is there, but will it materialize?
We will see...
By no means do I consider the bull market over, and I also believe that the best is yet to come for altcoins, which are definitely lagging far behind Bitcoin's 2024 performance. Does it have to be the same as it was in 2017 and 2021 when altcoins outperformed Bitcoin by a large margin during the final stages of the market? We don't know...
ETFs might change that, but on the other hand, plebs won't get into ETFs for degenerate revenues on their investments. Low caps, micro caps, and meme coins will create the next generation of crypto millionaires. That's how I see it...
I won't buy a Ferrari, even if I have the money to do so. It no longer makes any sense... Back in the day, having a Ferrari meant you would be one of the few. Nowadays, owning a Ferrari means seeking acceptance and recognition and standing in line with way cheaper cars due to insanely heavy traffic...
I don't know how much money I will make at the end of this bull market. I can only assume, but I sure know that most of it will be directed towards passive income tools rather than cash-eating gizmos. I'd rather put $100,000 in HBD savings, which will generate me $1,600 a month, rather than spend that on a car that would cost me $1,000 a month in maintenance.
I know that folks who buy Ferraris don't worry about maintenance, but the trend in crypto is always to show off with your easily created wealth once the bull market is over. I plan on staying low profile and building myself a sustainable passive income stream that would help me stay away from the burdens of the 9-5 modern trap, rather than showing off for a while just to get back to poverty in a couple of months after the blow-off top.
"I was born with a Ferrari," but I am trading it for financial independence... I'm too old for a two-door sports car now 😃. The universe had its chance with me, but it seems it chose to blow it away...
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
There are always opportunities. A few years ago i did some backtesting.
Compared buying a Tesla or Iphone versus investing the money in the stock.
Investing would have been way better.
Tesla and Apple are extreme examples. But look at Nvidia, Bitcoin, ...
There will be the next chance. Keep your eyes open for the next opportunities.
Iphone, Tesla kaufen oder besser in die Aktien investieren – ein historischer Vergleich
True.
The Bull Market...
A bull market nevertheless.
