Something Fishy...

Plenty of rain today in my part of the world, and to be honest, I'm not a big fan of rain. However, since it's already September, we can't argue about the weather. That's how fall should look and feel like...

I didn't spend too much time indoors though. Shortly after posting my morning Leofinance post, a friend called me to invite me to a barbecue at his father's vacation house, and I couldn't refuse.

We didn't have a typical barbecue, though. Instead, we opted for fish (mackerel) and baked potatoes. It took some time before we finally got to eat, but it was all worth it because I couldn't think of a healthier version of a barbecue than fish and cooked potatoes with garlic.

We actually cooked the potatoes in the barbecue embers, and I absolutely loved it.

It's funny, but I was having fish for lunch when my friend "gave me" mackerel. I have to say that it tasted better than the perch I was planning on cooking. The barbecue was outdoors, but luckily we had a roof over the barbecue and the table where we ate.

As usual, I took plenty of photos while I was there, and I have to say that I like the place. It's a few kilometers away from my town, it's pretty quiet, and there's plenty of nature surrounding the house. A great vacation spot indeed.
