Some Call Em Parasites...

I've been followed by pigeons everywhere I went today... Or... Maybe I just went to places where they were chilling. Who knows... The thing is, I saw a ton of them today and managed to snap a few photos.

They aren't big fans of being photographed by my humble smartphone camera, but thanks to the 6x high-quality optical zoom I got, I snagged a few solid shots of them.The white ones were photographed near a friend's house where I hung out for about an hour or so.

The others were scavenging for food by a supermarket I hit up after leaving his place.Torrid days are back in this part of the world, and the pigeons don't seem to vibe with the heat. That's why I kept spotting them near water sources while I was chilling in the supermarket parking lot.

Some folks call pigeons parasites, claiming they carry all sorts of diseases. I don't buy that, though. I don't see how snapping photos or being near them could make me sick.

Everyone's got their own opinions, and I respect them all. To me, pigeons are pretty gentle creatures, even if they sometimes mess with the wrong enemies—like a car's tire while it's rolling.
