Salzburg(Simply Charming)
If there's something I really appreciate about the Austrian people, it's their attitude towards the historic stuff they have in their country. Once part of the Habsburg empire, Austria is brimming with history and historical remnants. We, Romanians, have such stuff as well, but we are more destructive, thus not many architectural structures from previous generations are still standing.
I've been to Salzburg a few days ago, and despite the cold and fatigue from the road I took a day prior to my visit, I have to say that I really enjoyed the aforementioned Austrian city. The downtown is so full of history and tourists. I posted a few pics from the fortress they have there a few days ago, and it was amazing to see tourists from all over the world there on that cold day, admiring the sights.
Aside from the fortress tour, we had a city center tour as well, not by horse carriages—although some tourists were doing that too—but by foot, with my smartphone camera open, shooting pics left and right. The place is majestic, and the well-preserved/restored buildings are a testimony to what Austria stands for.
I wish I were here in the summer so I could spend more time out and get in touch with more of the city, maybe even have a cold beer at one of the open-air restaurants they've got there. Maybe in the summer, I will come back. Who knows? Life is full of surprises.
The streets are quite tight in some parts of the city center, and walking up or down them feels like somehow going back in time. There are all sorts of souvenirs that one can buy; most of them are quite expensive, if you ask me, but I guess selling quality stuff for cheap is not good business. Anyway, I'm not very good at history (quite bad, actually), and I'm having difficulties posting this from my phone (spilled water on my laptop the other day).
Hence, I won't be pouring too much text into this post and instead let the pics talk. Tell me how you like the place and whether you have been to Salzburg or any other Austrian city. Have a great day, people, and see you all next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

@acesontop Beautiful photos, you can see that the buildings contain many stories of the past, with impeccable architecture.
A charming place indeed.
I dream of seeing snow, this place looks beautiful ✨
Snow is quite rare in Europe in the past few years.
