So, today I finally hit the pool for the first time this year. We've had relatively high temperatures for this time of year in my part of the world, and this summer’s shaping up to be a weird one. Let me explain...

For pretty much the entire month of June, we saw temps soar past 30 degrees Celsius at noon almost every day. But in July, forecasts say the temperatures will dip as low as 28 degrees max starting next week.

That means I gotta make the most of what we’ve got, which is why I spent most of my afternoon at a pool near my town. It’s a guesthouse with a pool open to everyone, and I’m a big fan of the vibe there.You only pay something like 12 bucks for access.

It’s not too crowded, and there’s always plenty of beach loungers to choose from.So, I sunbathed for a while today, and it turned my skin pretty red. I’m the type who turns red first, then gets a proper tan, so I’ll need to hit the pool a few more times to get that golden glow.The summer’s still ahead of us, so no worries...
