Recession In...
Yesterday, FED's Jerome Powell came out and said that the economy in the US is strong, but despite that, he gave no hint at lowering interest rates at all. Puppet president Donald Trump keeps trashing Jerome for being a bad policymaker at the FED these days. Well, why doesn't he fire him?
Cuz he can't... The FED is above the state, cuz it made its own money law back in 1913 when the FED was established in the US. Very few among the masses ask themselves questions like: why doesn't the president have power over the institution that creates currency in the US, and what's so secret about dealing with the economy that the FED isn't more open and transparent about their work?
It was supposed that Trump was somehow gonna fix the world after he got elected, but it seems he's nothing more than a puppet of the elite, trying to portray himself as a man of the people.
Things ain't great in my country either. On the contrary, it was announced on the radio yesterday that, according to the central bank, Romania will slide into a recession by the end of this year. I'd say the recession is already here, as I see quite clearly what a poor touristic season we have in this part of the world.
This economic sector says a lot about the state of the economy. People are more cautious about spending money, and that’s so obvious. Even the activity on online ad apps, like those similar to eBay, is going down.
There's another factor that got us into this recession: the war in Ukraine. We've spent too much money supporting those who fled Ukraine and came to our country, and we also blew too much cash on elections.
The situation with pensions is even worse... They don't have money anymore. Fiscal policies in Romania are so fucked, we're so deep in debt that they're cutting all sorts of benefits from pensioners. I guess I'm making the right call to leave the country...
Romania has no business plan. It's not saving, it's not investing, and it's not exploiting its natural resources properly. This thing is heading toward destruction, and it’s such a pain to watch. I love my country, but I don’t want to be part of it going down like the Titanic.
The new president and the current so-called government make it so obvious that Israel is kinda calling the shots, and that sucks. I don’t trust the Jews, I don’t like the Jews, I don’t want to live among Jews, and don’t call me antisemitic... I’m not. I just do the math and call things for what they are.
Chew on that... And have a great weekend!
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
