Not So Sublime Sunday...

We have probably the most fucked up weather we’ve ever had in this part of the world. I mean, we haven’t seen temperature fluctuations this wild in a while. A month ago, we were basking in well over twenty degrees Celsius every day with pretty warm nights, but May’s weather has been totally fucked up.

I mean, I never imagined I’d still be wearing a hoodie and a thin jacket on top of it this close to June. That’s how I got dressed today, though...
That didn’t stop me from spending a good few hours outdoors, though, and as a matter of fact, I actually had my coffee at a restaurant by the Danube this morning.

It was nice, and I even snapped a few pictures while I was there.
I did notice something else, too... This year seems to be a bit weaker for tourism compared to previous years. The restaurant I went to is a well-renowned one with a pretty nice guesthouse by the river, but the place was practically empty.

When we got there, only one table with two people was occupied, and by the time we left, the whole terrace was pretty much deserted. That place can easily host 100 people... Far from being filled today. I guess people are finally realizing that our national currency’s purchasing power is weakening like hell, and they’re not spending as much anymore.

We’ll see in a few months if I’m right about this, though... I have a feeling the recession is hitting, however... I guess it’s time I watch my spending. Anyway, that’s about it from my side for now. Hope you all have a great time, and I’ll catch up with you next time.
