Is Resurrection Even Possible?...

Once again, @edicted proved to be right with his TA. I gotta say, when he posted that tweet, I was hoping for a rebound from $111,000 for BTC. I actually had a long on BTC opened at $115,000 and closed it at a loss...

I opened another one at $111,000, probably the exact same day Edicted posted that tweet, let it ride all the way to $113,000, and did nothing, only to close it at a loss once again.

Today, I opened a new long just a few hours ago when BTC was around $111,600, and I’m currently sitting on a negative PNL. My liquidation stands at around $100,000, and I don’t plan on closing this one at a loss, though. It either makes me money, or I’ll let it bust.

So, we’re not there ($103K-$105K) yet, the floor Edicted was envisioning, but man, looking at BTC’s price clinging to dear life, I’d say there’s a 90% chance it dives that low.

To be honest, looking at the charts and the liquidation frames on coinglass for the past couple of days, something told me I should wait until halfway between $100,000 and $110,000 before going long again, but my damn monkey mind made me hit the button sooner.

I don’t know about you, but I’m almost certain I won’t make much money on what’s left of this bull market. It’s too late in the cycle to get those 50X-100X gains anymore. Shit, even a 5X would be satisfactory, but I didn’t come to crypto for that.

Emotions are such a killer in this game. I keep seeing myself making all sorts of mistakes driven by emotions, basically repeating the same ones for about eight years. When am I gonna learn?

I don’t know, but what I know for sure is that this bull market is the most unpredictable of them all and probably the weakest one for alts. We’ve had some rockets here and there, but the majority are in the gutter.

Look at HIVE, sitting at 18 cents, almost four years since it peaked at about $3.6, if I’m not mistaken. In the previous two cycles, most altcoins had already rallied decently from their lows at this stage in the bull market.

I kinda regret not dumping my entire portfolio back in April 2024… I doubt I’ll hit those numbers with my current holdings. It’s true I took some profits from my stash over time, but the closer we get to EOY, and seeing such poor performance across the board, the more I feel like there’s not much juice left for alts this bull market.

I hope I’m wrong and we still have a proper altcoin season in Santa’s bag somewhere, but I have low hopes for that. What do you think?
