Hohensalzburg Fortress: "A Place of Torture"
Hohensalzburg Fortress(built in 1077) is enthroned on the Festungsberg, high above the rooftops of the Baroque historical district. The biggest fully preserved castle in Central Europe, this emblem of Salzburg offers a 360-degree view of the city and its surroundings.

I landed in Austria yesterday and already kicked off exploring stuff around here. I might as well turn into a travel blogger, you know? On a serious note, though, if there's one thing I really want to do with bull market money, it's to travel more. The past couple of days made me realize that being too complacent and static means missing out on a lot in life.
So, I had Salzburg in mind before actually arriving here, but I didn't know exactly what I was going to check out in the city. We left home without a plan, and while cruising on the autobahn, I started "doing my research."
Hohensalzburg Fortress was one of the first tourist spots I came across, and that's where we directed the GPS. It didn't take us all the way to the base of the fortress, but we parked the car in a paid lot and hoofed it to the fortress.
Reaching the top was a bit of a challenge for me, and my mom almost called it quits on the way up. It did her good, though, and we managed to climb all the way to the highest point, where I snapped some spectacular photos that will be the focus of a future post.
I took around 250 photos there, but I won't bombard you with all of them. We shelled out eleven euros each for fortress access and embarked on the official tour.
We navigated through various passages, checked out some "torture gear," climbed hundreds of stairs, braved the cold and wind, but it was all worth it in my opinion. The entire escapade took us about seven hours (covering a total of 400 km), with around 2-3 hours spent exploring the city center (including the fortress).
Initially, I contemplated giving you an "in-depth" tour of the citings, but let's face it, I'm terrible at history. So, I'll let the pics tell the story of my afternoon. Stay tuned for more remarkable ones in future posts.
Hope you enjoyed this post. Wishing you all a fantastic Sunday. Have a blast, folks! Stay healthy, wealthy, and enjoy your life.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

One of the things that makes you feel like you are enjoying life is traveling, if you have the time and resources don't hesitate to do it.
I'm sure that as a travel blogger you would be very successful, what beautiful pictures and a great ride. @acesontop
I am looking to travel more in the future.
Don't forget to take me for a ride in them, even if it's with your posts. 😆
My pleasure
Hohensalzburg Fortress is an excursion destination that is worth seeing for young and old. The Fortress Museum displays exhibits on the history of architecture and life at the castle, while in the Rainer Regimental Museum memorabilia from peace and wartime periods are shown.
A nice place indeed.
