Here and There...

I just got to Austria a few hours ago after a 10-hour drive filled with traffic jams and insane temperature changes. When I left Romania around 8 AM, it was about 20 degrees Celsius, but near Vienna, it hit 34 degrees Celsius.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the weather to be so damn hot in Austria this time of year. It’s my third time here, but my first during summer (well, end of summer, technically), and this time I might stay longer.

I left Romania with a plan to learn the language better, get a job, and integrate into the country. I really hope everything goes smoothly. Despite being exhausted, I went for a walk as soon as I unpacked my bags.

It’s a different world here compared to Romania. Some things I like more than back home, while others feel a bit weird for now. I dig the language. I’m not great at German, but I can handle simple stuff pretty well. That said, Austria’s like Switzerland—they don’t speak textbook German here.

Anyway, it’s tough to say much about this place yet. It’ll be my home for a while, so we’ll see how things work out. That’s about it from my side for now. I’m keeping this post short and sweet.

Last but not least, I wanna thank everyone who wished me well in the previous post where I announced my departure from Romania.

Aaandd... It’s time I hit the bed now. It’s been a rough day, but hey, no one said it’d be easy. Have a great day and catch up with you all next time.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

It’s exciting that you’re diving into a new chapter, learning the language and exploring life there. I’m sure you’ll adapt quickly and things will start feeling like home.
