When you got a dude on live television for thirty minutes trying to convince his audience that being healthy is out of anyone’s control, you know for sure something’s wrong with this world. If not everything…

It’s true that nowadays it’s pretty damn hard to avoid junk food and pick healthy options because we’re bombarded with junk at every corner, and fast food joints are the norm. In my country, these restaurants are everywhere now.

I guess it’s typical for developing countries to see fast food spots thriving with barely any options for healthy foods to choose from. But you can make a choice, if you want… You just gotta be a contrarian in this world.

Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, has been all over the news the past couple of years preaching Bitcoin and blockchain technology. But just a few years ago, Larry Fink was calling Bitcoin an index for money laundering… Was Larry wrong?

Nah, he wasn’t wrong from his perspective. When he had no skin in the game with Bitcoin, he trashed it everywhere, but now that he’s got leverage through ETFs, he’s got every reason to hype it up.

Retail investors are usually super reactive instead of being proactive. In trading, it’s better to react since you can’t predict the top or bottom, but when it comes to investing, you gotta have vision and block out the noise at all costs.

Unfortunately, retail investors often just chase trends, which is why we saw such huge demand for Bitcoin near $100,000 and barely any interest when it was six times cheaper.

We’re living in an era of psychological warfare, the way I see it, because you gotta be hella cautious when sifting through info and acting on it for your investments. You don’t take investment advice from TV, just like you don’t take health advice from TV either.

Some might say it’s because of the food we’ve been fed for so long that’s turned us into lethargic sheep, but I believe it’s a combo of way more factors than that.

Instant access to everything has turned us from hunters into believers. Back in the day, you had to knock on your friends’ doors to round them up for a party or to hang out, walk to the grocery store, or go ask a girl for her number, and so on and so forth.

Now we’ve got Uber Eats, instant chat apps, porn, dating sites, video calls, and so on and so forth. We’re so damn dependent on the system it hurts, and the system ain’t just the government or the justice system anymore.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
