"Amen"

When did our freedoms start changing so drastically that some of them are now eroded to the point where we can't even call them freedoms anymore? Some might argue that COVID-19 was the catalyst, but I'd contend that the factors driving our current situation go much deeper.

The "plandemic" merely exposed how easily those in power can wield totalitarian control over us. In many ways, 2020 exacerbated an already troubling trajectory. While those responsible for imposing various restrictions and mandates over these past two years deny any wrongdoing, we continue to witness the consequences of these measures. Inflation, for instance, has been one of the most palpable effects.

Today, I saw a gentleman on Twitter lamenting that it costs him $100 to fill up his gas tank. Well, in my case, it takes a hundred bucks to brim the diesel tank of my A4, which holds just 70 liters. I'd bet that guy has a larger tank than mine and probably earns a lot more than I do, but I empathize with him. He, like many others, was accustomed to a comfortable life, and suddenly, even the middle class in the US finds itself struggling to maintain that quality of life.

So, what's the solution? We need to take matters into our own hands, but can we truly do that? How do we combat inflation, climate change taxes, and the myriad burdens weighing us down? Unity appears to be the only way forward, but how can we unite when border crises are unfolding worldwide?

People from impoverished countries, some in dire circumstances, are fleeing to more prosperous nations. Italy, just a few days ago, was thrust into the spotlight when 7,000 migrants entered the country through a single small town. The United States faces similar challenges.

Elon Musk has emerged as an unexpected champion of free speech, a humanitarian, and a benefactor of modern society. But is he the real deal? He's encouraging citizens to become grassroots journalists by live-streaming impactful events through X (formerly Twitter), events that traditional media could otherwise manipulate. He's getting his hands dirty in this endeavor too.

The multi-billionaire "philanthropist" recently visited Eagle Pass, Texas. During his visit, a Twitter user pointed out another dire situation involving migrants in Piedras Negras, Mexico, where thousands are crossing into Eagle Pass, Texas. These asylum seekers are predominantly from Venezuela. Venezuela...

What compels people from Venezuela to flock to the US borders? Has the US (not its citizens) inflicted harm on that nation? I asked ChatGPT, my alternative to Google, to shed light on the negative economic impact the US has had on Venezuela. Let's see what we uncover...

The United States has had a significant negative impact on Venezuela's economy in several ways:

Economic Sanctions: The U.S. government has imposed a series of economic sanctions on Venezuela. These sanctions have targeted key sectors of the Venezuelan economy, including its oil industry, which is the backbone of the country's economy. Sanctions have restricted Venezuela's ability to sell its oil, access international financial markets, and engage in economic transactions with U.S. entities. These measures have contributed to a sharp decline in Venezuela's oil production and exports, leading to a collapse in government revenues.

Asset Freezing: The U.S. has frozen Venezuelan government assets held in the United States, further limiting the Maduro regime's access to funds and assets that could be used to stabilize the economy.

Pressure on International Partners: The U.S. has exerted diplomatic pressure on other countries and international organizations to isolate the Venezuelan government economically. This includes urging other countries to impose their sanctions on Venezuela, which has further limited the country's access to global markets.

Impact on Currency: The economic sanctions and financial restrictions have contributed to hyperinflation in Venezuela. The government has resorted to printing more money to compensate for the loss of revenue from oil exports, which has led to a devaluation of the Venezuelan bolivar and a collapse in the currency's value.

Humanitarian Impact: The economic crisis caused by sanctions has had severe humanitarian consequences. It has led to shortages of food, medicine, and basic goods, contributing to widespread suffering among the Venezuelan population.

Flight of Capital: The uncertainty and economic instability caused by sanctions have driven many businesses and investors out of Venezuela. The flight of capital has further weakened the economy.

Well, well, well, we can't deny that America indirectly attracted these migrants by wreaking havoc on its economy. Where else could these folks, who are likely struggling to make ends meet, turn to for a better life? Mexico? Well, some made it there, but once they set foot in the promised land, suddenly America has a border crisis on its hands. Meanwhile, the US government is laser-focused on protecting Ukraine's borders. The hypocrisy of our political system is glaring.

Now, there's the Polish approach to dealing with illegal migrants, but it seems a tad brutal if you ask me. Nevertheless, Poland boasts no terrorist attacks, stabbings, or racially motivated murders. I suppose sometimes being a bit ruthless in defending your territory isn't all that bad.

If we delve into history, we'd realize that nearly all the countries currently grappling with migrant influxes have, at some point, invaded other nations or interfered with them in some way. Call it karma or what you will. To me, it seems like the destruction of any remaining principles and values in modern society is happening by design.

Now, back to Elon...

It appears that this man is turning into a modern-day messiah by offering individuals numerous tools to reclaim their freedoms, or better yet, equipping us to fight against an overtly tyrannical political system. I see all of this as nothing more than clever marketing for his platform.

All Musk does is hype up the new features that X is introducing, attempting to attract more users and encourage existing ones to become power users of the app. Truth be told, X will likely evolve into an all-encompassing app sooner rather than later, equipped with features like voice and video calls, job listings, payments, and a censorship-free ethos. However, Twitter is far from being a free-speech haven.

Words like "porn," "gay," "amen," and many others can still demonetize a user's post if used. Meanwhile, the real change Twitter aims to bring about is happening on Hive, but unfortunately, Hive lacks the exposure it deserves. Consequently, it's Twitter that garners praise for being the do-it-all app fighting against the establishment. The very essence of Hive represents a victory.

In my opinion, the world is navigating tumultuous waters, and it's all part of a grand design. I mean, there's no "natural cause" for all this chaos. Oil prices didn't spontaneously explode, the border crisis wouldn't exist if the West hadn't meddled in Eastern countries, and the current levels of inflation likely wouldn't be this severe without the misguided fiscal policies implemented in almost every country during the so-called COVID-19 pandemic.

We are still free citizens, but we mustn't take that freedom for granted. I understand that Bitcoin can't solve everything, but in the years to come, we'll witness the pivotal role of blockchain technology and Web3 in the midst of this turmoil. We must choose wisely and remain vigilant. They only hold power as long as we permit them to do so...

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

It was an exciting post!🙏 The origin of all these disorders in the world today is governments' desires. You have countries with a lot of resources, but because of the indiscriminate intervention of the West, they have poor people under various excuses. This is what the West is shooting itself!😔

The desire for chaos and destruction goes beyond government, but for the sake of keeping things "official" we'll say it is the fault of the governments...

Is this chaos inside the nations or the rulers? This is a key question. Things like racism, are they inside the nations, or are the rulers fueling it? These are very important. How many friends do you have with opposite looks and thoughts? Are you not friends with them? How many challenges do you have?

True. The differences are created by them. It is all by design unfortunately...

U.S. freedoms have been eroding for decades, long before the pandemic. The pandemic merely accelerated the trends that were already occurring.

Can't argue with that one. Same happening almost everywhere.
