"Easy Going"

I can’t believe I spent a bit over eight years living in this tiny, shitty old town... I came back from abroad in late July 2017 with the idea of taking a break and moving forward with my life after eleven years of wandering...

Divinity had other plans for me... But this week, I’m finally leaving, and in preparation, I went downtown today to pay all my bills. While there, I figured I’d hit up the bank to close my account.

I rarely used it since I’ve been a happy crypto debit card user since 2020, but I still had it. Now that I won’t need a Romanian bank account anymore, I went to the bank to shut it down. Romania’s still decades behind developed countries, so you have to physically show up to close your account.

After about half an hour of standing there signing papers, I was told it’ll take up to a month to close my bank account... That’s fucking outrageous...

Man, you can literally set up a crypto wallet in minutes and start transferring billions at any hour using blockchain.

The world needs blockchain so desperately... We need decentralized blockchains, though, like Bitcoin, Hive, or others. Unfortunately, the ones gaining traction lately as utility blockchains are shit like Ripple.

I read on Twitter today that Japan’s in talks with Ripple to launch stablecoins using the Ripple blockchain. These are CBDCs in disguise... Prove me wrong.

Now, back to my final days here: I don’t expect my life in Austria to be heaven on earth, and it’s not like I won’t miss some things from this place, but there’s so much broken shit here it makes me wanna vomit...

Anyway, looks like Bitcoin rebounded hard today, and maybe we’ll get a proper altcoin season in the coming months. It’s what many of us have been waiting for forever... We’ll see. I wouldn’t mind my portfolio doing a 10X-20X in the next few months.
