AskLeo - What Are Your Predictions for The Crypto Bull Market?

It's been a long time since I posted a #askleo piece, but these entries were once effective in sparking engagement on my content. Chances are that the topic I'm addressing today has been covered previously as well, but as the market evolves, targets and perspectives change.

I've been in crypto for nearly seven years, and honestly, not much has changed in terms of retail mentality and herd behavior. However, when we look at the crypto world as a whole, we can clearly see that we have much more recognition now than we did in 2017.

2017 was one of the most explosive bull markets for crypto. During that cycle, not only did Bitcoin perform exceptionally well, gaining about 80X from bottom to top, but the ICO craze also saw countless projects generating significant profits for their investors. Believe it or not, we're now back to a meme-driven cycle...

If someone had told me in 2017 that 15 years after Bitcoin's launch, we'd have a meme coin-driven bull cycle for altcoins, I wouldn't have believed it. One would expect projects like Hive, Thorchain, and Travala, which have real-world use cases, to thrive during this bull market. Instead, the altcoin market has become a meme casino. Meme coins are phenomenal performers, unfortunately.

I don't hold any, but I must give them credit... POPCAT, for example, is close to a $1 billion market cap, which is insane. However, that doesn't mean that once we enter a serious altcoin season – which might be right around the corner if the rumor is true that ETH spot ETFs will go live tomorrow – everything will pump. There's a chance that some capital will even shift out of meme coins into other projects with fundamentals that haven't been fully pumped yet. Once ETH breaks ATH and Bitcoin is considerably higher than $74,000, the real fun will begin for altcoins.

What many retail investors don't grasp about holding altcoins compared to Bitcoin is that while Bitcoin typically experiences gradual price growth, altcoins often range for much longer periods before experiencing parabolic growth. A low-cap altcoin can 100X in value over the course of a couple of months, while BTC might only add 10% to its value during that time.

These altcoins have to wait for BTC to have its moment in the spotlight before their party starts. I don't recall the exact price targets I provided in a similar post, but right now, I see BTC surpassing $95,000 by the end of the bull market, ETH reaching $8,000-$10,000, SOL topping out at $1,000, HIVE settling somewhere between $5 and $10, and DOGE reaching $2.

I can't predict when we'll peak. Something tells me it'll be early to mid-2025, but I could be wrong, and the four-year cycle could play out as it has in the past. I'll be shorting everything as of 2026, though... What about you? What predictions do you have for the current bull market that are worth sharing?

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

My only prediction and I wish everyone here should predict same is that $Hive should appreciate remarkably.

I agree, Hive has real potential for growth, especially if altcoins start gaining traction. With Trump hopefully entering the Whitehouse and staying true to his word on making crypto great in America I expect to see bull run for most Altcoins and Bitcoin
