Anti-Social Antics: Rainy Days, Mood Plays, and Laptop Dismays

Two things messed up my afternoon today. The first one was the rain that started pouring like hell exactly when I was about to hit Melk, a place where there's a nice castle worth visiting, close to the town I currently am in Austria, and the second one is pouring water on my laptop.

I just did that ten minutes ago, and actually what you are reading right now is my second attempt at writing this post. I hope I cleaned the laptop well enough and that there's not much water inside so that it will further work as it did so far.

So, yeah, I was planning to visit the damn castle of Melk today but turned 180 degrees and headed back home. On the way back home, I stopped in Ybbs and Der Donau and took a walk on the bank of the old mighty German-originated river.

I will have to say that it is way bigger in size in my part of the world (I live by the Danube, by the way), but the speed of the water here is considerably higher. The visit was worth it...

It was an unexpected stop and an unexpected stroll, but it was worth the time. I guess... I don't know. The weather here is kind of cloudy, moody (shitty), and rainy, and it has affected me somehow too.

Add to that the correction in crypto, which was kind of expected though, and I have to say that I am not having my best day of the year. I am thinking of the future too much, feeling a bit pointless, and feeling the urge to choose a path. I need to go somewhere, do something...

I've been wasting time for too long waiting for crypto to moon, and I've become too anti-social in the process. Maybe tomorrow will be better, maybe the sun will shine, and maybe 2024 is going to be a good year.
