After crossing the bridge, I met the river merchants.

I always like this sculpture with their details.

Then I left and passed by this shophouse with a 7-eleven store which has a Singapore Pools outlet.

I decided to go in and try my luck at winning the $10 million.

Absolutely beautiful pictures from your walk. Quite interesting to learn about the trade taking place by the river from 1820's , I love how those sculptures have been used to tell a story and preserve history.

The bridge and the shophouses were from a time of their own but the rest are from the more modern times.
